[Zeke]

Working the midnight hours of the legendary hangout cafe for teen's and lonely people. Haze was working since seven earlier in the day and was waiting tables like no one else before due to the exceptional influence and discpline of his father. Running frantically with swiftness and agility, Haze took orders and delivered at lightning speed, with the occasional small chit chat and tips. Dark circles under his eyes, as he hadn't slept in days.. The discipline lesson today was to stay awake for another three days while working hard for the future that his dad hoped Haze would have. In his fathers mind, this was all necessary for a good Man to do for his Woman. Once no more customers had came in and the ones that were there had left. Haze was told he could leave off his shift now but instead he sat at the counter of the cafe and started to doze off slowly.

[Charlie]

Chizuru, alone and bored, entered into the Midnight Cafe. She just wanted a cup of tea and a snack before she headed off to buy groceries. She'd alread stolen afish from the fismarket, and had it wraped and hidden in a sac slung over her shoulder as she walked in grining widely. Her toothy smile did nothing but gloom a few emo teens in a corner as they spotted her entrance. After ordering a cup of ginseng tea, she hustled over to the cute guy dozing in the corner. "Hey handsome." She said, nudging im gently with one hand, atempting to wake him up kindly.

[Zeke]

Not hearing the ring of the bell at the top of the door when Chizuru came in, Haze did nothing but doze more until he was suddenly nudged and his head fell forward to hit the counter waking him up with the impact. Jolting his head back up with a sticky note of someone's order stuck to his forehead, Haze looked to the girl that nudged him and smiled nervously. "I-I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep on the job. May I please take your order?" He asked Chizuru after searching for a nearby notepad and pen on the counter he was resting on and then holding it so for her order to be written. He had no idea someone else had already serviced her and forgotten that his shift was over. His perky attitude and his fox tail swinging behind him, Haze was faking his happiness in the torture of not sleeping, if he wanted to keep his job. The customers service with a smile always came first.

[Charlie]

"You're fine you're fine." Chizuru told him, smiling at such cute behavior. "I already ordered, just wanted to meet somone here, and you looked the friendliest." She explained, dropping the sacked fish to the floor and sitting beside him. "Relax, I just came in after them, she said jerking her thumb at the few teens in the corner. No need to force yourself. Hi, I'm Chizuru." She said, introducing herself as she looked around.

[Zeke]

"O-oh? What a relief, that means my shift is over, cause when I am working. I wait this entire room by myself." He admitted and when she introduced her self and saw her looking around he replied. "I'm Haze, Haze Hakuro. Well I guess you kinda knew that from my ugly name tag." He said laughing quietly and looked to his name tag and then saw a sticky note fall into his lap. (I hope that wasn't on my forehead.. How embarrassing.)

He stared at Chizuru while she was looking to the environment and quickly ridded his lap of the note in case she didn't notice it before. "Since you need someone to keep you company, if you don't mind. I am willing. Because I honestly know those guys over there and you probably don't want their company. Trust me." He said still smiling. He had trained himself to smile in all situations.. to help him survive the tortuous tasks his father made him do, plus it was a bonus for keeping people happy as well when they were around him.

Yawning heavily at his still tired mind, he rubbed his eyes and swung his swivel seat a bit as he faced the counter and his tail kept swaying the whole time. "So umm, Did you have a nice day?" He said trying to think of things to say as he kept her company before going home. His father wouldn't mind him being late, since he was being well mannered to a lady.

[Charlie]

Not commenting on the stickynote, Chizuru turned back and smiled at him. She hadn't looked at him nametag, but nodded when he told her his name. "My day was fine, and I'm glad you warned me against hanging with those people." She said as her tea arrived. Smelling it before she took a sip, she mmmm'ed at its aroma and taste. "I made a big steal," she said jokingly "before I showed up. I hear this place has some of the best tea in town. "But... if you're off your shift, why are you still here? A cute fox like you should be out having fun with friends."

[Zeke]

(Big steal?) Haze thought and replied. "Yeah, those guys are only interested in one thing really." He said peeping over to them from behind Chizuru. One of the boys saw Haze looking and jerked his body at him in a douchebag way to let him know he wasn't scared or interested in being friends. Looking away from them to prevent a fight, Haze blushed a bit when he was called a cute fox, but replied after it faded shortly after.

"W-well I wouldn't want to leave you alone with no one to keep you company while you are here, my dad really frowns on rudeness. Especially to girls." He said rubbing the back of his head shyly with one hand, since he had just basically said his dad was a chivalry supporter. "U-uhm and honestly, I don't make too many friends with my busy schedule.." He admitted this as well and was sad on the inside from loneliness but kept his smile anyway for Chizuru.

[Charlie]

"I'm surprised no cute girls have come regularly just to see you." Chizuru teased, drinking a large amount of her tea. "But, then again, nobody knows how delicious the beverages here are I suppose." Chizuru said pondering aloud. "But if you have to meet your father, you shouldn't delay on account of me. I'd feel really bad if it was something important, and wouldn't you have missed it falling asleep?" She asked purring in delight at her cup of tea.

[Zeke]

Wagging his tail to her comment on cute girls wanting to see him, he blushed and replied. "I-I'm betting you have quite a few boys knocking at your door.." He said turning his smile into a slight smirk teasing her as he shook his head slightly to wake up more. "Does the tea really taste that great?" He asked curiously, wondering if he should try it some time when he was off the clock. "And r-really don't worry about it, it's more of a blessing being able to stay here than you know.. And yeah, thanks for waking me up, I really appreciate it." He admitted softly. (My dad would be so happy to know I am with a girl right now, but I couldn't tell her that and make her think I am some kind of person who can't get girls easily.)

[Charlie]

"I'm sure they would knock, if they could catch me long enough to talk to. But I'm pretty hard to catch. Don't have a need to speak to most of them." She said, honestly. "And honestly speaking, if this place were a bit brighter or easier for the eye to catch, girls would just be streaming in here for you." She told him nodding as she took another sip, noticing the tea was starting to cool down.

[Zeke]

"You're v-very kind, thank you for the compliments." Haze said keeping a big smile and happily swaying tail. Looking over to her as she sipped, he kept his blush and asked. "Do I really look that ni-.." Haze was caught off guard as one of the boys from the other side of the room started to come over and Haze kept his eyes carefully focused on him as he walked to Chizuru and leaned on the counter with a smirk as he said. "Hey, cutie. Why don't you drop this minimum wage loser and hang out with some true Men?" He asked and started to rub her tail softly before pulling it.

[Charlie]

"Keh." She laughed at the prideful man's attempts at 'coercing' her to join him. As his unwanted rub turned into a tug, she quickly reached down and grabbed her fish by the tail (as that was the easiest bit to hold and the closest bit) and swung it hard, smacking the man to the floor with it. Hissing she could still feel his grimy touch on her tail, causing her hair to all but stand on end. Turning back to Haze as though nothing had happened, she goes "yes yes I think you're more than nice enough to work somewhere more friendly and appealing."

[Zeke]

The man being slapped with the fish by Chizuru, had gotten laughs at himself from all his friends before he quickly got up and ran out of the cafe. Surprised by her strong nature, Haze jumped a little back in his seat as she turned back around to face him.

"Thank you, Chizuru. That is very kind.. But my dad wants me working hard for little money.. He says it will teach me respect for what I earn and make me a hard working man through a lot of tasks." Haze said nodding and returned to face the counter smiling happily that he didn't have to start a fight with anyone because of the tail grabbing. "Is the tea living up to your expectations?" He asked nicely, wondering if she would finish soon so he could fall asleep somewhere outside due to the lack of being able to walk back to home.

[Charlie]

"Aww, if he wants that, then I guess I can't gossip about this place to my friends then, huh? that'd give you a pay raise, but a lot more stress from a high influx of customers." Chizuru said, thinking it over as she slowly finished off her tea. "And the tea was great. I'll definitely have to come back soon." She said as she shoved the fish back into the bag. "I guess I should leave you alone now, huh?" She said, glancing a little sadly into the empty cup, wishing it had more, but not wanting to drink it.

[Zeke]

"You can tell your friends, I could always give you my extra earnings, okay? And thank you a bunch if you do decide to spread the word." He said appreciatively, although he was kind of hoping the place stay the way it was, so he wouldn't have to work so hard.. he needed a break sometimes. When she said she would come back soon, his tail picked up in wagging but went down again when she asked if she should leave him alone and stared into her cup sadly.

"H-hey it's fine.. really don't worry, I can umm hang out with you some more, if you don't mind that is? Also may I know what you were planning on doing next before coming in here?" He asked curiously to see if it was something he could hopefully tag along on so she would get more hangout time, and he would be getting blurry vision from the lack of sleep.

(It's fine, all I gotta do is hang out with her for a little bit longer, then go home and nap and dad will be praising me for meeting a girl.) He said closing his eyes to blink and dozed a bit before slapping himself to wake him up with a big smile even though his cheek was pink now.
