[Zeke]

It was Night time, and things usually got to the point where if you came out you'd raped or mugged and Lagi was hanging out with a few low lifes only because they accepted his strong attitude for being who he was. Lagi kept silent really as the rest of the punks filled the air with smoke and laughed at what they would do the next time some one came by, changing the situation on if it was a female or male.

It wasn't too late but it was late enough for people to still be wandering around in the territory they did not want to be in. As they discussed, seemingly somebody was coming because one of the thugs happened to have the sensitive hearing trait. As they all including Lagi gathered to the end of the alleyway to pull in the victime and mug them, it would soon become apparent what the motives would be as they pulled in their target swiftly.

[Charlie]

Being suddenly pulled into an alley, Chizuru gave a small yelp, surprised that someone would have the guts to do such a thing. "Uwah?! What's going on? Who are you?" She hissed, growling at the group of men. Clawing at one, while sinking her claws into another, she wouldn't dare make anything simple.

[Zeke]

Giving into the pain, the thugs just smiled as Chizuru's attempts were very pathetic and made it all the more fun when she struggled. The biggest of them held her down with her hands behind her back as if she were handcuffed. The leader of the thugs Lagi hung out with walked in front of her as Lagi hid in the background.

(Shit! I was really hoping the one night I spend with these guys, It wouldn't happen to be a rape fest..) Lagi said trying to see Chizuru's face as he glanced over the shoulder of the male slightly. (Damn it, I can't let her just be taken advantage of. Although this might be my only chance to ever touch a female..) Lagi pushed the leader out of the way. "I get first touch.. say anything and you burn.." Lagi said with lust in his eyes as he leaned towards Chizuru as the men grinned and chuckled.

As Lagi's lips were about to touch hers, he caught glimps of the look in her eyes. Whatever emotion she was feeling at the moment, got to Lagi. Change of heart in Lagi made him quickly act as he pushed Chizuru towards the ground with his hand on her head and blew a fireball from his mouth into the biggest one's face.

The leader came up but was kicked to the wall by Lagi as he knew the closest one would be the leader coming up behind him. As the big one covered his face and knelt behind Chizuru in pain. Lagi grabbed Chizuru's hand harshly although trying to be gentle he pulled her forward to the end of the alleyway as the other two men snuck in and grappled Lagi to the ground, getting in four stabs before, he released his wings knocking the men off. Running over to Chizuru, he took off as soon as he scooped her up in his arm and flew off wincing.

Chizuru may have gotten blood on her, but at least she wasn't humiliated. Having Chizuru so close to him in his arm, Lagi was still ill and nervous near females even if he was on the verge of bleeding out. Blushing he just said hesitantly. "You.. alright?"

[Charlie]

A look of fiery determination upon her face, she glared and hissed at the tall man who was looking at her as if she was a fresh caught fish. She wouldn't go down without a fight, even if she couldn't get away at that very moment.

Suddenly, the man about to kiss her started attacking what she thought was his own group. "Uwahwah?" She said, as he tried to help her escape before suddenly finding herself off the ground. Too stunned at everything that happened, she didn't know what to do but pray he didn't plan on dropping her.

When he spoke to her, she slowly registered his words before responding. "I-I think so... But you're not. W-why did you help me?" She asked, her tail stiff with anxiousness. "You should put me down." She said, not wanting them both to fall out of the sky just because he had bloodloss. Not sure what to do, she just hung in there until he made up his mind of what to do.

[Zeke]

Still blushing, Lagi tried to keep his answers short and simple so he wouldn't cough up too much blood. "J-just b-ecause.." (She is very cute but that's no reason to be proud of saving her. At least she is saved and that's what matters I guess..) Lagi thought as she soon told him what he should do.

"One second longer.. they will find us if I land right here.." Few moments later he started drifting downward in a glide and let her onto her feet. Right after he just dropped himself onto the sidewalk not caring about the impact as the stab wounds would distract him from that.

"Sorry.. grabbing you was the only way I could help you get away. Go home now.." ( He stated leaning forward on the edge of the sidewalk before pulling out a cigarette and bringing his wings back in. Lighting it up.. he had no intentions on moving from the spot and just smoking the last minutes of his life away.

[Charlie]

As soon as he put her down and told her to go away, she frowned. "Just because you may have been with them or not, and even if you didn't plan on saving me, doesn't mean I can just abandon a person." She said, lifting his arm after he lit his cigarette, not giving him a choice. "We're going to get you help, you can't just die so easily." She said, trying to pull him to his feet. "So let's go!" She cheered him on, pulling him as best she could. She would drag him if she had to, but would rather he go on with her.

[Zeke]

"You told me to put you down and now you want me to go to the hospital with you?" He said looking to her confused. (She isn't making any sense to me.) As she lifted his arm he grasped his wound from underneath in pain as he winced. Taking his arm back from her to lessen the pain, he kept the cigarette in his mouth the whole time. "Think about it? If we go to the hospital those guys will be waiting. They know they hurt me and they will be expecting us to go there. I suggest you go home in case they send guys out here as well." (Going back to my low lonely life after being stabbed and in pain. No thanks) He thought.

[Charlie]

"Fine then. But you're going to get those wounds treated then. My friend is a doctor, and I'm sure he is home now. So let's go." She said, tugging back on his wrist, trying to lead him onwards. "Please? It would be a pity I can't ask you more questions if you die..." She said softly, murmuring to herself about how to motivate him to come with her. "Please?" She begged, kneeling down in front of him as she looked into his eyes.

Her eyes pleaded with him, begging him to go and not just to give up. He'd seemed determined enough to help her, so he shouldn't just stop when she wanted to return the favor.

[Zeke]

Lagi just listened as she tried to convince him to move. (Friend huh? And a doctor.. I'm sure he is your 'friend'. I know how it ends up. I go there you two will flirt and I'll be healing while you two have your little medical fantasies. Wait what the hell am I talking about? That's what a jealous person says..)

As she looked into his eyes he scooted back blushing with a scared expression. It soon ended the awkward moment when the men found them and came running down the sidewalk for Lagi. "Deal.. are you a fast runner? Screw that question we don't have time." Lagi said throwing his cigarette and standing forward while grabbing Chizuru in his arms and letting his wings back out before ascending. Now in the air, Lagi tried to ignore her in his arms for the sake of blushing and her seeing it. "Which way does he live?" Lagi asked not looking forward to being the third wheel.

[Charlie]

Again she found herself in the air, her feet dangling off the ground. "U-uhm..." She thought, not used to seeing bulidings from so high above. "I think it's that way! About two blocks left and and three blocks forward I think." She said after glancing around, thinking that in the dark, that one most likely resembled her friend's house from above. She didn't think that her friend would be upset with her for bringing a stranger over, since it wasn't the first time she's brought an injured person over. "I hope you don't mind cats, my friend has a really cute one." She said, really content with the thought of seeing the cat, Fluffles again.

[Zeke]

"Okay.." Lagi kept silent as he went closer to the ground for safety and eventually found himself at the door of Chizuru's friends house. "By the way.. I'm Lagi." He said shyly as he looked away and waited for her friend to answer the door. His wings soon retracting inward. "Know what? Screw this.. I'm leaving. I only moved because I didn't want you to get caught again after I went through rescuing you." He went to walk a few steps. (Not going to spend a night in her lovers house so I can wake up to go back to my crappy life. I said I would chill and stay calm until my time comes, And now my time has come..) He thought and fell forward on fainting thoughts. "Ughh" He mumbled as he fell to unconsciencness.

[Charlie]

Shocked that he just fainted, she banged on the door. A man opened the door, and she frantically explained the situation at a speed too fast to comprehend before he saw the man and went over and picked him up. A woman ran to the door, overlooking the man's actions as she tightened her robe. Grabbing Chizuru's hand, the woman led the hectic woman into the house, closing the door behind the man after he entered with Lagi. The man set Lagi down carefully on the table before dashing into the next room to pick up a bag from the next room. Bringing it into the kitchen, the man set it down as the woman had already started removing Lagi's shirt, careful not to touch the wounds barehanded. She took out some rubbergloves and some gauze and examined his wounds, before caring for the man.

The woman had been the doctor friend of Chizuru after all, and the man had only answered the door out of fear that it was a burglar, and didn't want his wife to get hurt. After the doctor treated Chizuru while the man had her wait in the livingroom with a hot glass of milk, the man moved Lagi to a spare bedroom, hoping he wouldn't freak out when he woke up.

[Zeke]

Waking up in the spare room was a pretty interesting experience as he tried to think how he might have ended up here. "Damn it.. why did she have to help me?" He said quietly as he laid back and placed the pillow harshly on his face to where he could barely breathe. "Why am I so suddenly getting people to care for me?.." He asked himself under the pillow as he began to breathe heavier.

(I'm such a jerk, how could anyone treat me like this. The one time I don't want someone to help me they do. I think I like her.. But maybe I should.. yeah I won't start anything with her. I don't want to end up hurting her feelings if she accepts and I scare her off with my jerkish attitude.) Lagi thought of all of this as he tried to gasp for air but then removed the pillow. "I guess.. I have to be her friend now."

[Charlie]

The man from the night before walked into the room, opening the curtains and glancing at Lagi before getting out. A second later voices were heard and the lady walked in with Chizuru. "So, sir..." The lady started off. "How did you get wounded? She wouldn't tell me anything after I dressed your wounds?" The lady said softly, one arm draped over Chizuru's shoulders as Chizuru shyly stared at her shoes. "She was so worried, barely slept at all last night. You should thank her, you almost didn't make it."

[Zeke]

"I-I just... How can I say this? Ah the hell with it.. I helped her escape some rapists.. I was almost one of them.." Lagi said honestly and couldn't believe she would care so much about him when he almost did so many unspeakable things to her. Looking to CHizuru as she looked down shyly, Lagi smiled for her and let the words speak for themselves. "...I'm sorry for being such a jerk at first.. Thank you for saving me... Doctor may I?" She nodded a yes in reply so Lagi could then stand up. Pacing himself overr to her, Lagi stood in front of her not saying a thing as a blush came across his face before he reach forward with both arms to wrap around Chizuru.
