Karter was sitting at one of the stools at the bar, working on getting himself hammered and what happened from there? He didn't think he would care, so ya, he wasn't worried about any concesquences[sp?] he just wanted to drink and not remember anything for a good while..

The man next to him would have been so more apparent if KArter were not drinking so much, and if the man actually had his sword with him that always caused stares. Looking over to the weakling in stature, John patted him on the back and said. "Don't drown yourself."

Karter blinked, looking at him.. "And why not?" he asked.. hmm.. he intended to not remember a thing for awhile.. and this was the only way he knew how to do it.

"I could care less if you drink a lot, but if you keep drinking more than I think is reccommended for you, you will actually die by drowning yourself in your alcohol. And we don't want someone like you dying do we?" He patted him on the back again. (Probably nothing special about him. but since I said that and if there is anything unusual about him, I probably freaked him out heheh.)

Karter tensed and shot up from his seat, swaying dragerously, "W-who are you!? What do ya know about me?!" he stated quickly.

"I know you're a very depressed, cautious, drinker who is scaring off people from the bar.. And tell me your name and I'll tell you mine." John swung in his seat to see Karter from his position as he smiled.

Karter twitched, ugh, all those words made his brain hurt.. he mumbled something incoherent and sat back down, ordering another drink... "I'm Karter" he finally muttered.

"Damn, dude.. I'm going to have to take you back home and make sure you don't kill youself, huh?" John said as if he cared somewhat about this Man, and he did, but he had odd ways to say it. "I'm John, I know pretty common name. Haha I like your name though, not many people use it." John said as leaned back on the bar's countertop with his elbows.

Karter blinked a few times.. "what's it matter if i pass out on the road.. no one will miss me.." he stated, rather quickly downing this drink... He groaned and asked the bar tender for another.

"Well you wanna know why? Because you are such a downer, try being happy for a change and people will want to around you and vice versa. Also have self confidence, be proud to call yourself a Man." John smirked and took Karter's drink for him as the bartender brought it close. Downing it quickly, John returned to his smirk and stood out of his seat to begin lifting Karter from his seat by the back of his outfit. "You're coming with me.." He said dragging Karter out of the bar and down the road.

Karter gasped groaning as he was lifted, his drink having been stolen, "hey that was mine!" he complained, squirming some.. "Pft, I can't be proud to call myself a man" he huffed.

"I wouldn't be proud to call myself a Man if I were you either when you are acting like nobody wants you. There are very rare occasions when you meet someone who will break the love barrier and actually give two shits about you no matter if they are having problems also or not. You obviously haven't found that someone yet.. well wait a minute you found me but I aint going both ways.. Anyway we gotta make those who are too worried about their own problems to care for others, care for you. And how you ask?... With my conditioning course and tips." John went on through all the explaining as he carried Karter like a cat by the skin on it's neck, but instead it was with Karters clothes.

Karter groaned squirming, "will you put me down all ready!" he huffed, frowning.. "And no I can't be, even with what I do! I'm not really a man!" he stated angrily, looking away feeling ashamed.

"I don't care if you are secretly a damn fish! You are human and you should be proud to be one of the most intelligent creatures on this planet. You only have one life, live it happy.." John was getting agitated that Karter would not listen to reason but still wanted to help him.

Karter groaned, "Can you at least please put me down?" he asked softly..
