Tsume frowned, smelling it to.. He stepped over to Toboe dropping the rabbit, "Take the rabbit, and go to the den" he stated a bit sharply. He had to find out if this bear was still on his territory.. if so... He had to deal with it.. Granted it'd be safer with a pack to back him up, but he couldn't let the kid to go.

Toboe blinke but shook his head. "You can't face a bear alone... if you go then I go too..." He said not backing down. He had finally found some one who accepted him he wasn't about to lose him because he was prideful.

Tsume huffed growling, "You said I was alpha right? Then listen to me dammit.. you're to young and to small to be of much help."

Toboe growled. "I won't let you go off on your own against a bear... and if nothing else I could at least distract it... I'm faster than you are..." He said quietly.

Tsume groaned.. "So much for listening to me" he stated with a growl... "Welll since you're distraction, still carry the rabbit" he huffed.

Toboe sighed but did what he was told and picked up the rabbit and smiled. 'I think he gave in because he knows I'd follow him anyway...' He thought to himself.

Tsume grunted and moved, following his nose, looking for this bear.. When he spotted it he paused.. Good it was a small one.. Not full grown yet.. Should be easy enough to chase off.. He lowered before he moved forward, giving a snarl, and a snap of his jaws as he went at it, looking as threatning as he could muster.

Toboe followed close behind him and when he spotted the bear too he blinked. 'That one looks kind of small...' He thought and before he knew what was going on he saw Tsume snap at the bear.

Tsume growled as he managed to hase it off, huffing as he stood there, watching where it went... He went about, marking the area as any wolf would after reclaiming some territory.

Toboe gently set the rabbit down and sniffed the air. 'Hey... I smell something good...' He thought. "Be right back..." He said and took off into the forest and he pounced on a quail and easily snapped it's neck. 'I haven't had quail... in a while...' He thought as he took it back to where Tsume was.

Tsume glanced over and gave a faint nod, finishing up his marking, he moved over to where the rabbit lay waiting on them.. wondering what Toboe was up to.. He lowered his head and lifted the rabbit.

Toboe walked back over to Tsume and smiled with the quail in his mouth. 'I hope he likes it...' He thought to himself as he waited for Tsume to say something or for some sign he did good.

Tsume's auds pricked forward, and he gave Toboe a faint nod, since he couldn't really speak with the rabbit in his mouth, stepping closer to Toboe he gave him a gentle shoulder nudge, before he moved, heading back for the den, leading the way.

Toboe's tail wagged when he got the nodd and shoulder nudge. 'Yay! He's proud of me!' He thought excited as he followed Tsume back to their little den.

Tsume went to the den, and as always, gave a grunt as he forced him self through the entrance, shaking off some once he was inside, and dropped the rabbit looking back expectantly for Toboe.
