The large wolf was moving swiftly... hot on the trail of a rabbit.. It wasn't long before he caught it, powerful jaws quickly ending it's life.. He carried it as he headed back to his den of a home.. It wasn't much, but it was enough for him. He was alone in these woods, or at least as far as he knew. So when he got back to the small cavern, he slipped insinde, grunting a bit. Such a tight squeeze. He laid down on the pile of leaves he had kicked in there last fall, and laid down, working on his rabbit as he relaxed, eyes on the outside..

He yawned once he was done eating what he was going to... He ate about half of it. Which considering it was his third rabbit today, wasn't that bad. He streched some, letting it sit as he relaxed.. Looking to the entrance once more.. He sighed and laid his head down.. Wolves were better in packs, and he couldn't help but feel he needed one, but he couldn't find another wolf out here.

Toboe whimpered as the fourth rabbit that day slipped away from him. 'Dangit... I'm not strong enough to get a deer by myself... and rabbits are too crafy... I'm going to starve...' He thought helplessly. He whimpered again and kept walking trying to sniff out another rabbit to see if he could catch that one. To his luck it started to rain and he whimpered looking around. He noitced a rock facing and ran over ot it looking for an opening. He finally found one and without even thinking the young wolf slipped inside. When he did he came face to face with Tsume and he whimpered his ears plastered to his head. 'Please don't hurt me... He thought looking at Tsume with a pitiful face,.

When something came into his home, he couldn't help but jump to his feet, a snarl escaping him, ready to fight it off... But he paused.. This..

The snarling stopped as his ears pricked forward. It was another wolf.. A young one.. But still another wolf.. He noticed he was wet, and scared.. He sighed.. Grunting, he just moved, grabbing his rabbit and practically threw it at him with a jerk of his head.. "You're to scrawny" was all he said before he moved laying back down, turning his back on the other wolf.

He wouldn't chase him off, but that didn't mean he had to be very social...

Toboe blinked surprised her hadn't been run off. He jumped slightly when the rabbit landed at his feet and he was about to thank the other wolf when he noticed he turned his back to him. 'well that's a little rude...' He thought but sighed. "T-thank you..." he said in a quiet voice. "Do... you mind if I stay here until the rain stops?" He asked quietly. He didn't want to intrude so if the other wanted him to leave he would.

Tsume gave a faint grunt.. "I dont care if you stay.." he stated softly.. although honestly, he hoped he would. He would never say it though.. And he didn't bother turning to look at the other, he just sprawled out on his side laying in his pile of leaves.

Toboe sighed in relief thankful he wouldn't have to go back out in the rain. He knelt down and tore a piece of the rabbit and quickly swallowed it. "So... where's your pack?" He asked him curiously. every other wolf he'd run into always had a pack nearby and he normally got chased away.

"Dont have one" he stated bluntly. Yawning afterwards.. "Can you be quite?" he huffed out, figiting some before he was still on his bed of leaves once more.

Toboe's ears went flat. "Me either..." he said quietly then when Tsume said that he huffed but just ate quietly seeing as this wasn't his home.

Tsume glanced back at the kid for a moment, but didn't say anything.. He let his eyes close, dosing for the time being.. running around all day after rabbits wore him out.

Toboe watched him for a minute after he finished his rabbit then he sighed and laid his head on his paws. "I'm Toboe by the way..." He said quietly. He knew the other wanted quiet but it was just so hard to be quiet all the time. XD

Tsume groaned, and moved rolling onto his stomach, lifting his head to look at him... He huffed.. "I didn't ask.." he muttered softly... He laid his head down.. Auds twitching some... "Tsume" he grumbled out.

Toboe sighed and turned his head away. 'Fine I won't talk to you then...' He thought then when he heard the other wolf grumble out his name he smirked. 'Okay... so maybe he's not as bad as I thought...' He thought to himself.

Tsume had dozed in and out for awhile.. Yawning when he finally woke up, streching.. Looking to the den entrance he noticed the rain had stopped.. HE looked over to the kid to see what he was doing.

Toboe was sprawled out on his side in a fitful sleep. For some reason while he was asleep he transformed into his human form and from the expression on his face he wasn't having a very good dream.

Tsume blinked a few times, but with a sigh, he moved over, shifting to his own human form.. He gently set a hand on the kids shoulder, giving a gentle shake.. "Hey.. Hey Kid.." he stated softly..
