Reed blinked as he sat down once more, "I was hoping you'd tell me.. You crashed through my window last night" he stated gently, so much for not telling him...

Zonbi watched the other, keeping quiet for a few moments. He did remember falling into something--perhaps into the house? He gave a slow nod, looking at the glass of water. "And you.. didn't kill me?" That was the last thing one of the scientists had said. 'If you can't tranq him, kill him!' Then again, Zonbi was dispensible to them, so why should it be any different anywhere else? He looked back to Reed. "That's what.. they were trying.. to do. The scientists.."

Reed blinked, "I have no need to kill you, nor any want.." he stated softly.. scientists? He was quiet a few moments, then spoke softly, "well you are safe here from them, you have my word" he stated gently, and honestly. If he could protect this male, he would.

Zonbi's expression didn't change, his sullen and expressionless face remaining. "But.. I'm a monster." He said softly, the words echoing through his mind over and over again. Their screams, their yells, the roar of the flames, the explosion of gun barrels. "Why would you protect me?" His eyebrows twitched slightly in the direction of one another. Oh, Reed just wanted him there to work off the debt he owed him for bandaging him and for the broken window. Right, now it made sense.

Reed shook his head, "you don't look like a monster to me" he stated simply, slowly he stood... "And if they're the scientists I think they are, I don't approve of them, so if you need somewhere safe from there, here would be it" he stated simply.. He streched some.. "Do you want some breakfast?" he asked gently.

Zonbi watched Reed. Now a monster? As if he could believe that. He had killed her.. his own mother. Or, the woman who had called herself that. Still, with how persistant the other was, perhaps he would just slip away once he wasn't paying attention. It was better to now be around people. "Breakfast?" He asked softly. His body didn't require food to function so he had never been fed before, thus unsure of the meaning of 'breakfast'.

Koya burst through the door, tears streaming down his cheeks and the trademark whine of a child throwing a tantrum erupting from his small body. He rushed across the room, clinging onto Reed's leg. "Papa.. She.. She tried to take me!" He wailed, the maid following after him, looking out of breath. "I was just.. trying to get him down to breakfast.. Master Reed." She panted softly. Koya had given her quite the run around. She was only trying to do her job.

Reed looked to the other, "Why its..." he turned looking as the door open and he couldn't help but smile softly, a hand coming to rest atop Koya's head, "It's okay Koya.. I was busy, so she was going to get you some breakfast.." he looked up to the maid and gave her a nod, letting her know it was all right, and he'd take care of him...

Zonbi looked to the child, watching as he clung to the older man's leg. This was a weird house, that was for sure. Though, he couldn't help being intrigued by the small creature--he was much like himself in that he was a mix of everything, but obviously had never been tested on.

Koya sniffled some, looking at the woman. He didn't like anyone other than Reed, though, Reed was the only one that had ever been nice to him. Well, save for the staff, but they didn't really stick out. "But.. I don't want to eat breakfast if it's not with Papa.." He whined softly, already acting like a spoiled little child.

Reed couldn't help but smile softly, and slowly knelt beside Koya, since when he moved odds were he'd let go of his leg, "All right, we'll get breakfast together Koya." he smiled softly, and opened his arms for him, once close enough, he stood holding Koya close yet gently, he smiled gently, then looked to the 'guest'... "Will you join us?" he asked softly.. He still hadn't gotten a name from him... "What is your name?" he finally asked.. He gave his own name earlier, and never got a responce.

Koya gave a nod, smiling as he moved into Reed's arms and was picked up. Little hands held onto his shirt, his gaze turning to the man in the bed. He let out a soft giggle, "Papa, he looks funny." Though, it was quite the truth even though it was rude. With duo-toned hair split just off to the side and hung down to his cheek bones. Pale skin the looked like porcelain and crimson eyes. Yet his human appearance was rather 'normal,' his feral and intermediate form were far from it.

Zonbi's expression didn't change at the child's comment. It wasn't the worst thing said to him or about him, and if it brought laughter to someone, that was even better, right? He turned his crimson gaze to Reed when asked if he would join them for breakfast. "Uhm.. I've never eaten before.." The ultimate weapon wasn't supposed to need sustinence to remain alive.. or 'working'. The scientists had always told him that he didn't need food to survive, nor water.

Reed looked to Koya frowning lightly, "Now Koya, even if so, it's rude to say as such, and I don't think he does anyhow, He looks unique, and you shouldn't make fun of him for it, okay Koya?" He looked back to the man, and sighed, why did he refuse to give his name? He sighed.. "Please sir, what is your name?" he tried again.

Koya looked down at the scolding, about ready to burst into tears. He hid his face in Reed's shoulder, not wanting to look at either of them for fear of being scolded again.

Zonbi blink, a bit surprised. He never really had a name.. Test Subject 76553. Apparently he wasn't the first one ever made.. perhaps the first to survive then. Except, there was one that had been different, his 'mother'. "She called me.. Zonbi." He said softly. He guessed it was a name, but he didn't feel right using it now that she was dead. Killed by his own hand.

Reed sighed and gently rubbed Koya's back.. Really now? He didn't mean to make him so upset, he only wanted Koya to understand.. He looked to him.. "Do you wish to be called Zonbi then?" he asked him gently.
