Lagi stood looking at all the fresh ingredients. They were all separated by quantity and color. All of it looked so good, he couldn't help but think of tearing into each open box and stuffing his mouth full of goods. Some of it was intended to be cooked or filleted even, but Lagi was a half dragon he would eat almost anything. The whole place was under a single roof and there were no walls just pillars holding the ceiling as the fresh air rolled in. Ceiling fans made their rounds above to keep some of the ingredients even fresher or just to cool off customers. Lagi's fiery red hair blew in the breeze some and the inhaling scent of morning rain could be smelt from the streets behind him.

The noise from the hustle and bustle of everyday life filled the marketplace to a high level. As food preparers put on a live show for paying customers, Lagi examined the open crates looking for something to nab for breakfast. -it all looks so good I can't decide.- He thought. Then he came across a tank of live fish. His eye's lit up with the fire of hunger as he readied himself to take one of the fish when no one was looking. He made one mistake though and didn't check behind his self.

She had just been strolling by when she spotted a tank full of fish. Of course her nose would lead her to such a place. And she was in luck! Nobody was around watching the tank carefully. It would be so easy to nab one herself, but there was a semi suspicious character standing unusually close to it. Maybe he was the one put in charge to prevent theft, she didn't know, but there was one way to find out. "Grab me one too!" An excited whisper came over his shoulder. "Please? And make it the biggest one you think you can sneak off with." The same voice asked him with a slight whimper. She stood next to him casually, pretending too examine the floor as though it was the most interesting one she had ever seen. Surely it wasn't the wisest way to check and see whether he was up to the same thing as her or not, but he didn't seem like any fish guardian she had met. And boy had she met some interesting ones.

She hadn't been sure whether she should nab and run off with the fish herself and hope she didn't get caught or ask him to meet her a few blocks away with the fish. He appeared like he could pull it off himself, maybe even with more fish. But that was wishful thinking if he didn't want to get caught. Of course, that thought wouldn't prevent her from such actions... but two suspicious people by the fish tank didn't seem wise. Better to keep it cool and continue staring at the floor for the moment.

Rolling up his dress shirt sleeves, he readied his hand of the side of the tank looming it over the water to where the fish swam. The timing was to be precise, swift, and cunning. Taking one last look before he decided to take the moment to catch one he noticed still no one around. He struck with precision diving his hand into the water and grasping the nearest fish to him in his palm. The feel and sense of scaly wet skin came over his hand as he tried his best to maintain grip on the slippery devil. As he quickly dropped it into his bag hanging by a loose strip around his neck and tightened the string around the lip of the bag to close in the fish, a female voice spoke out to him.

-Grab another one? Okay- Lagi thought and stole another before someone turned their attention his way repeating the process same as before to trap yet another fish in the sack hanging from his neck. The two fish squirmed together in the bag violently try to breath. -Okay time to get the heck outta here.- Lagi turned to the female voice he had just heard and examined her for a brief moment then grasped her hand into his palm and gave a short few words. "Let's go." He said quietly and held her hand running out of the marketplace with her following behind. Lagi lead her out of the marketplace and onto the other side of the street, down a dark alleyway. Resting against the back wall of one of the buildings enclosing them in the area, Lagi looked back towards the entrance way to the alley and noticed nobody was following them.

"Okay good we lost them." Lagi spoke happily, thanking his god there wasn't a chase scene. "Here is your fish." He said to the female and opened his strapped sack to reveal two live fish still gasping for air. He slipped one of the 'fresh' fish into the females hands. "Be careful don't drop it." He said nervously and closed the sack to his fish. -I'll save mine for later today.- He thought.

As she glanced over and saw the man slip a fish into the sack, she grinned and thought of devious things to do with it. She could eat it raw and taste its deliciousness ooze all over her hands. Or she could climb a tree after roasting it on a fire. A million simple ideas popped into her head and tantalized her tastebuds playfully until she found herself being led away. And quickly at that. She hadn't even had time to brush away the last idea as she looked around the streets they passed.

As they stopped and he spoke it took her a second to register that there wasn't a fantastic and fun chase to be had. He was too good at grabbing the fish. She would have at least waved her tail around, possibly arousing suspicions as she lazily and slowly fished for a bite. "Oh. Thanks!" She giggled, happy to have a prize she didn't work for. As soon as the fish had fallen into her hands she sunk her nails into the fish, slightly causing it to flail about in her tight grip. "I won't. But..." She drifted off for a second, curious as to who would steal a fish for her. "Might I ask a question? Why did you grab one for me? And what are you going to do with your fish?"

She wanted to ask who he was but maybe starting off so indirectly wouldn't hurt. She flung the fish a little over her shoulder, as one might do to burp a baby, all the while keeping her grip nice and tight in it, lest it try to play dead and flee from her in a moment of weakness. "And... One more question after that if you don't mind." She blushed a little, already realizing that she was asking a lot of questions to this kind stranger. "I-if you don't mind answering my questions that is." She beamed a smile to him, trying to exert as much friendliness as she could muster.

Answering questions so suddenly was not what Lagi had in mind, he thought she would have just taken her piece of the pie and fled from him as soon as possible. But as it seems that was not the case. "Well because you did ask me to get you one didn't you? And of course I plan on eating the fish I grabbed." Her smile and her friendliness exuding her presence was something Lagi never met from a stranger before so he was kind of surprised and when she grew a blush so did he. -Who is she?- He wondered just the same as she did but wouldn't know.

Back up off the wall he met her in the same way, standing wise. They looked as opposites standing in perfect symmetry. One was a Male one was a Female, one so nice, and one might not be so nice. Only time would tell. "Hi I am Lagi, nice to meet you. Miss?" He informed her of his name expecting the same in return after all he did just risk getting paid a fine for her in the market it was the least she could do for him in his mind.

"Oh okay. I wasn't sure because I've seen some people do some horrible non-eating things to such delicious fishies." Chizuru's shoulders drooped a little in disappointment. She had hoped she could catch a second fish if that was the case. "Ah, and I'm Chizuru. Its nice to meet you." She nodded in agreement with her words. She stared at him half expectantly with the smile still plastered to her face, not that she had anywhere to go to immediately. "Thank you so much. You're very kind." She nodded and waited for him to make the next move, or crack under the silence.

The slight drizzle irritated Lagi to a high extent, after all his main element was fire an opposing side to the water that delicately hit his skin and bothered the crap outta him. "I'm sorry but if you would like to speak with me further, can we please do it under some trees or something this rain is getting to me even here in this alleyway and my pants are soaked at the heels in the water puddles." Lagi told her and headed out towards the opening of the alleyway. "Follow me, that is unless you would rather be doing something else than hanging out with a guy like me.

Lagi knew he was a troublemaker sometimes his teachers back at the academy he grew up in were never shy to remind him of it. The smacks to the back of his hand were almost as irritating as the rain itself. That was his punishment for being who he was. Walking out into the street was a bad idea at the moments as many oncoming cars were coming through and Lagi detested being flattened into a mushy pancake. "We'll take the long way I guess since the park is on the other side, we will have to wait for an opening as we walk down the sidewalk."

Giddily, she followed him with her fish tight in her arms. She could wait to eat it for now. "Anywhere. I'll follow." She nodded and wondered where they were heading. It had been a long while since she had last followed any guy anywhere. She wasn't sure what kinds of feelings it brought up, but she was content with it anyways. "U-uhm, tell me about yourself?" She tried to make small talk to kill the silence. "Or speak at least please? Something?" She asked him softly and hesitantly.

"I-I'm sorry, I guess I was a little too focused on where we were heading. But yeah about me? Hmm.. Well I am a half dragon from a small village in the northern forest. After I was raised to the age of about 7 I was invited to the prestigious W.I.T. Academy. I think it's prestigious at least. I have lived there since then and currently still am. I wouldn't give up my life there for anything in the world I think? Is that enough about me to hold you for a while or do you want more?" Lagi asked as he lead her down the sidewalk avoiding the water puddles so his school pants would not be totally ruined. Why he was even wearing them at this moment he hadn't a clue. "Mind if I ask for a little bit about yourself? I mean I am not normally this close to a girl as they make me nervous.." He said and looked the opposite direction from which she walked beside him.

"I'm a traveler, from far enough away. I did it for fun, and my parents wished me well on my way. I have been here once before, but that was a while ago." Chizuru had to pause to prevent herself from drooling at the juice and intoxicating smell arising from her bundle. "Ah, and I ask a lot of questions. Such as how old are ya?" She giggled and shifted the fish's weight. "Ah, just ask me questions, and I'll most likely answer them all?" She suggested, unsure whether or not that would suffice for him. "Oh! And uhm, why do girls make you nervous?" She wasn't sure what would compel him to be nervous unless he didn't prefer them.

"Lagi noticed the drool and laughed slightly. "If you are that hungry go ahead and eat your fish don't let me stop you from doing what you want." They continued to walk until the corner of the sidewalk was met. Waiting for the cars to finally stop coming, Lagi ran across the street expecting Chizuru to follow him from behind. Once on the other side he continued his walk with her a bit more to the north this time. "As for how old I am, I am 16." Everything was alright until she asked him why he was so nervous around females then he gulped and stepped a bit farther away from her as they walked. "N-no I am heterosexual, and they just do." He grew another blush as they came upon the entrance to the forest up on the right hand side. Making it to the front of the opening Lagi ran in ahead as to get out of the rain quickly. Resting up by leaning on a tree and crossing his arms, he closed his eyes put one foot up on the tree as if he was some kind of bad boy posing. He closed his eyes and listened to the noises of the city coming from just a few feet away out of the forest.

"I will once we stop." Chizuru followed him slowly, making sure to keep up when he ran across the street. Why he didn't just wait for a few cars to pass confused her slightly. "I see." She grinned, finally stopping beside him. Crossing her legs and sitting down, she bite gleefully into the side of her fish, almost forgetting he was there for a moment. After she savored the first bite slowly, she looked back up at him. "Maybe you should work on getting the guts to talk to them. You seem to have the guts to steal, so maybe you should work on them for talking?" She bit into her fish again, not caring how rough she looked, half sitting in a rain puddle herself while the rain continued to pour on her.

Keeping his eye's closed the entire time he had them remain shut even when he began to speak his reply. "Because, I am not sure how to go about practicing it. I mean right now I can't even watch you eat that fish without flinching. Would you help get over my nerves if you don't mind?" Lagi honestly had no idea how to get over his nerves but if he had to do it sometime it better be sooner than later. "I guess I should let you finish your fish first before we try anything." He laughed nervously with his eyes still closed. All he could focus on for the moment was Chizuru's chewing and biting at the moment as it was all he heard other than the sounds of cars not too far away from where they were. "I hope you know how to treat my nerves because I sure don't."

"Sure? Though you don't mind fish breath?" Chizuru couldn't help but think that the scent of fresh fish was probably not the most appealing smell to people, let alone to anyone who would want her help curing their girl issues. "Though, if you'd like, the fish can wait." She hadn't taken another bite, as she attempted to clear her throat of any remnants. "How bad is it? I don't understand your problem fully. Care to go into detail?" She asked him curiously. "Please tell me some things about this problem, so I can fully understand."

"Your breath isn't a concern, I've smelt a lot worse than the scent of fish." Lagi then did as she asked and explained his problem a little bit deeper than he had led on before. "Ever since I first knew what a girl was, they always kind of how you say, have butterflies in my stomach. I hear other people do to but only with the girl they like. Me in the other hand it's with all females.

"So does this mean, I like every girl I see? Because if that is the case I feel like a weirdo lech. Even though that is not what it necessarily means that is how it makes me feel. I have all respect for females, but for some reason I can't be around them unless I have to be. Like now for example I have been keeping my distance from you since we met." -If I do like every girl I come across is that wrong? Or do I just have a very high ideal of how awesome girls are.- Lagi thought.

Chizuru nodded once as she listened and nibbled on the fish a bit, just to keep herself from devouring it all at once. "I see. Seems like a serious problem. Though, maybe you should be working on not keeping distance." She giggled and waved her tail at him, beckoning him to come closer. "Please?" She motioned from him to sit near her. "You should maybe take pre-planned steps?" She shrugged, confused as to what magnitude he wanted. "Tell me what I can do for you?"

"Maybe you do? Or maybe you haven't found one you don't like?" She shrugged and waited for him to join her. She held her fish, since there wasn't anywhere else for her to put it without it getting dirty. "Nya?"

Lagi gulped as he opened his eyes to see her calling him to sit next to her. Doing as she asked, Lagi did what was instructed of him and he walked over and laid down his form robe on the ground before sitting down. "Here sit on my robe, so you don't get wet." He then sit legs cross beside his robe expecting her to sit on it like he asked. -I'm so not used to this.- He thought. "I was hoping you would know, I guess I just practice being close to girls on you, if you don't mind?" He didn't realize what he said until it was too late and he blushed deeply. "I-I don't know anymore let's just wing it." He said and waited for her to take her seat on his robe. He then opened his bag and revealed the fish he had stole for himself from earlier. He dropped the fish into her lap and smiled. "You can have mine since you like fish so much."

"O-okay. Are you sure? I've been sitting in this puddle since I was here. I hope you don't mind." She blushed and sat beside him after wiping off her pants. "Okay. Thank you." She blushed a little harder, happy to have the second fish. "But don't you need it?" Removing his food supply wasn't something she wanted to force upon him. "H-how about this?" She leaned against him, holding both fish in her lap. She didn't know what to say, since she was estatic to get the second fish. Her first thoughts were to run away with them both, so he wouldn't ask for them to be returned, but she knew that probably wouldn't happen. "Is this okay?" She had inched closer to him still. "I hope I'm not making you too uncomfortable."

The blush never leaving his face he responded. "Honestly I am hungry, but I would rather you have it, I can always find a stream and catch more, it's no big deal." As she inched closer and leaned against him his palms got sweaty and his vision started to fade slightly. "N-no you're not making me uncomfortable at all." He said faintly. "I guess since I am trying out being with a girl I should practice how to make them more comfortable." He said and repeated it back to him in his mind so he could make sure he just said that. He was in disbelief how quickly he ended up with a girl this close to him so early in the morning. -I guess they are right when they say expect the unexpected.- He thought and put his arm around her shoulders slowly. "I-Is this okay?"

"Perrrfect!" She purred at him softly. "Thank you so much. You're too kind. She rubbed her tail against his back softly, hoping that might at least loosen him up a little. "I-is this fine?" She asked, looking up at him shyly. "Just make yourself as comfortable as possible, so please don't worry too much about me, okay?" She curled in towards him a little and grabbed his free hand. She first noticed how sweaty it was and couldn't help but smile a little to herself. It was kind of cute how he was acting.

"Well, you know, I-I just try to be the nicest I possibly can." The feeling of her tail touching his back was one he had not felt before, It felt both nice and relaxing. Easing him up a little bit and making him more confident, he then replied to her with a firm. "Yes I like it." He said with a smile down to her. When she curled in and held his hand he thought at first. -Oh man she is gonna notice all the sweat and think I am some kind of weird perv.- He didn't notice her smile but he kept a smile of his own across his face. They shared the moment and their feelings for the time being. -I guess all I needed was a little knowledge that I could get a girl to get over my nerves of being around them.- He thought and laid his head on hers as he held her closer. "U-um I think I am over my nerves as for now, but please in all rights can we not stop? I kind of like this." He said with his blush back in full contact.

"Certainly. Take as much time as you need." She blushed a little, noticing that he was taking the step forward and initiating contact on his own. "I'm glad I could help." She mumbled shyly, leaning in a little more." The surroundings were quiet enough and there wasn't anything else going on for the day. "I'm sure that you would like it once you finally got over it. I'm glad it was sooner rather than later." She smiled softly, knowing that he couldn't really see it from his position. "Are you really sure you had a nervous problem in the first place?" She teased him a little. "Although, I'm just kidding you know right?"

As the peaceful surroundings came to a rebirthing in a sense as the rain stopped to give it a new view. The grass was wet but also shone beautifully in the new sunlight that peered through the gloomy clouds. Almost as if it was for telling something that was about to happen. After she said that last line to him he almost choked on his own words. "Y-yes! I did have a nervous problem. But what if I didn't and you were right? Why did you go along with all of it in the first place if you thought I was lying?" He said and looked down from his positions slightly above her. -I wonder..- He thought and rubbed her shoulder firmly but delicately to let her know he wanted her to feel good.

"I thought you were serious. I was just teasing you." Chizuru blushed at his words. "I wouldn't have been so carefree were I having a serious thought that you were trying to dupe me." Her shoulders drooped a little, becoming more relaxed at the sudden massage. "Mmm..." She purred lightly under her breath. She leaned against him further, going limp in his arms. "T-that's nice." HEr earlier thoughts had already escaped her mind. There was nothing left to question, at least not immediately. Probably because she was distracted with her actions and his.

As she leaned closer, Lagi knew she liked the shoulder massage and so he continued with the one hand except he massaged her firmer now and more deeply. He grasped her hand tighter as the massage kept going. "I wouldn't try to dupe such a nice girl as yourself. I couldn't imagine meeting the guy who tried to have his way with you. I am too nice to try that." Lagi enjoyed the feeling of her soft skin in his palm as he rubbed harder against her shoulder. As she went limp he gained another smile. "Let me know if you want me to stop, by the way your fish are still in your lap if you wish to take a pause and eat some more." -Shows how far being nice and thinking of others will get you.- Lagi never lost his respect for the opposite sex as he sat there with his new friend.

"Mmm, the fish can wait. They're not going anywhere. Her tail slowed but continued to lightly rub against his back. "Man who tried? He was very nice.... what was his name. Very nice man a long time ago." She mumbled absentmindedly. "That's so very nice." She didn't notice his tightened grip on her hand, as she blinked slowly. "Anything I can do for you?" She asked, not wanting to make him treat her so specially when they had just met. It didn't seem fair in her eyes, no matter how nearly closed they were as her breathing slowed and deepened.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't know. I don't want you to think I am coming on to you after we have just met." Lagi let go of her hand and moved to directly behind her. "I'll continue the massage, but I don't want to give you reason for me to come on to you, especially since you already have someone. After all I am only 16 and how young are you?" He asked nonchalantly but also had hoped she wouldn't get offended. "Sorry if I went out of bounds so to speak, Chizuru." The gloomy clouds faded slowly but the sun also kind of died down behind the tree branches, making it dark with shade all around the two as Lagi continued the massage but this time with both hands. "I can give you a massage better now anyway."

"I'm not taken. I don't even know where he is. Its been a while, so don't worry about it, no harm done." She giggled. "How old do you think I am?" She asked him curiously, smiling. "Really don't worry about offending me." She giggled and purred a little louder. She couldn't help but think that is was just so long ago that she had first arrived here, and now she was returning. "I hope you don't feel bad. You shouldn't." She took a deep breath and tried to glance back at him. "Is my sitting here fine, or would you rather I lie down?"

"Oh, okay. I thought you might still have feelings for the other. Sorry I misread what you said. And I truthfully did feel kind of bad, because I thought if you did still have feelings for him that I wouldn't be able to do this with you anymore." Lagi pulled on her shoulders to lay her back against his chest with her head rested on his right shoulder. "This position is fine with me." He said and rubbed her shoulders from the new closer position. A couple of blue jays appeared and flew above them and into a branch hanging over their head. They chirped and sung for the two almost as if it were a serenade. "Ya know, I really do kinda like you."

"Ah, you needn't worry about my past. Its all old news. I don't even know where they are." Chizuru purred and curled her tail beside him. A small laugh escaped, turning into a deep breath. Her head resting on his shoulder was comfy, as she could tilt her head back and look up at him. "You do, do you? I'm very flattered. How come?" She asked him curiously. "You're rather nice yourself." She quickly added, unsure whether the pause would seem suspicious. She could have kicked herself for having it.

"You're not at all like the girls I met back at the Academy. You are more open and friendly, you're strangely different in a way I can't describe, like you don't care what people think about you but you have no reason to care anyway since you are pretty cute. It's hard to describe but you are not like the other girls, you're special. You have that personality that I would love to have myself." Lagi's hands moved her shoulders around as his thumbs pressed into her back and moved in circular motions. Her look up at his self was a feeling of both nerves and pleasure. "Y-you are very pretty." He added to his compliments. "It's kind of making me nervous again how I have such an awesome girl so close to me." He said and enjoyed the time they were spending together, although she was just a stranger whom he didn't know a few moments ago he couldn't but feel like he wanted to spend a lot of time with her in the future.

Leaning into his thumbs, she smiled at his compliments. "I just don't express my insecurities to everyone I meet. Travelling helps with that. And I'm very very flattered you think I'm pretty." The blush she had earlier had started to fade away, but came back fiercely when he had started giving her such kind words. "Really you are too kind to me. You just met me and you've stolen two fish and gave them to me, and now you're giving me a back massage. How many strangers would even consider that?" She asked him softly, staring at the fish in her lap absentmindedly. "Besides, you have to be different too, to be so open about your nervousness to a stranger. You have no idea what I could do, maybe use it against you were I of suspicious character." She snickered, amused at the thought. "But don't be shy of me. Please?"

"I'm this nice to every person I meet, I simply assumed it was normal. I am glad it makes you this happy though. And as for me being so open with my problems to you, I also simply assumed that was normal as well, Doesn't every guy treat you this nicely? I mean you are very beautiful so I would imagine you would be treated like this from everyone you meet." Lagi worked his way down her back with his hands making sure to rub every inch of her back deeply. "Besides with you I am willing to take any risk." He said and smiled behind her fully. As the birds sang their song, Lagi moved his hands in motion to the rhythm of their chirping.

"They are. Well most all are. I've just never met anyone who gives out massages on the first meeting. ...Come to think of it, I don't think any were 'normal' per say." Chizuru blinked lazily, looking for the birds that sang for them. "U-uhm, how could I ever thank you?" She asked him, trying to look up at his face. "Would you skinny dip?" Her eyes raised as high as she could raise them, her head tilted back as far as she possibly could get. "Or, would you consider streaking at a school event?" She asked him jokingly, curious as to what kind of answer he would possibly give her.

When she looked up behind at him, he completely froze in place and listened to what she had to say. "Oh you don't have to do anything fo-" His sentence cut short by her mention of skinny dipping and then of streaking. His blush once again returned as he he tensed up and kept his massage going except for every other muscle except for those in his hands. "U-uh yeah I guess I would, I've never been asked that so, what exactly is skinny dipping and streaking? They both sound kind of a weird thing to do." Lagi massaged all the way down her back now stopping right at the base of the spine before he reached her rear end. "I wouldn't mind doing either of those if they are with you." He smiled not realizing what he just said.

"You're pulling my leg! You don't know? Skinny dipping is where one goes swimming nude, and streaking is where one runs in and out of a place or event naked." She laughed, somewhat unsure whether he was serious or not. Her face blushed harder as his hands moved lower. "And if I did them too with you, what a scandal!" She wasn't sure how to take that. It was a strange request from someone who didn't even know what they were asking. "And they are somewhat strange things to ask in the first place. I was just curious. Pay no mind to them." She quickly tried to brush off the topic.

"Heheh I guess, I should eat my own words, I had no clue what they were. But now that I know, why would you bring something up as random as that?" He asked curiously and moved back up her back with his hands trying not to reach into forbidden territory. "Those were kind of random to ask even for yourself." He said and did a quick pinching motion to her skin to relieve tension in the flesh. "Even if you were curious that was too out of topic are you wanting me to try these things?" He grinned and wrapped his arms around her and placed his head right next to hers. "Is that what you want me to do for you?" He said being unsure but still thought it was worth a try.

"B-because! I like to ask strange things!" She stared into her lap sheepishly. "O-of course I couldn't ask you do do such a thing, which is why I asked you if you do those already." She poked at her fish, feeling greatly embarrassed to have such ideas suggested of her. "R-really I couldn't, and wouldn't." With a small struggle, she lifted her gaze just long enough to glance at his face, to see if she could see what he was thinking. "R-really! I-I mean it!"

"Hey, dun get all embarrassed, I got over my shyness around girls you dun have to be like this around me, I won't judge you." He smiled and kissed her cheek. The time seemed to had flown by while they sat there, it was now a little in the afternoon and the sky was clear of all remnant from the drizzle earlier that morning. "I'd do anything for someone like you." -yes I just kissed her cheek, now what does she plan to do in retaliation. I think can handle it.- He thought and held her closer to him in his arms. "I wouldn't mind doing either one of those things for you if that is what you want. I know you said you like asking random questions but I have a feeling there might be something more to it. Wanna explain to me what it is?"

"Guh! Is it that obvious, that I'm embarrassed?" Chizuru blushed harder. "T-there i-isn't anything behind it. Really there isn't." She gasped in surprise at the kiss.
