Basil set down his brush and headed toward the kitchen, he was having lunch with Yoko's "girlfriend.". Honestly, Basil never pegged Yoko as being into girls, he thought Yoko would be into guys.

Arriving, Basil, wearing just paint splattered shorts, wings hanging loosely on his back, held out a cleaned hand and said "Hi, I am Basil, Yoko's father."

Jade smiled and took his hand shaking it firmly. "Nice to meet you Basil I'm Jade..." She said and looked at his pants. "I guess you're a painter?" She asked him giggling a little. "But I actually like those I think I might make a pair of pants just to look like that... except they'll be black... with different neon paints..." She said and giggled.

"Painter, sculptor, artist in general, the muse speaks freely to me." Basil said warmly. The handshake was a good start, it meant she knew how to do it properly.

"That is an excellent idea!" Basil said with a grin. "I can help you make a pair. Truth be told, I rarely wear clothes when I paint, constricts my muse." He said bluntly.

Jade giggled. "Oh so THAT'S your muse?" She said stressing that word that trying to make a joke. "And ok that seems like fun..." She said smiling sweetly. "The muse doesn't speak to me much... I'm kinda good at singing but that's a about it... I'm more on the logical side of things..." She said and shrugged.

"Yes and no, I love beauty and is it my fault if I am attracted to very beautiful males?" He chuckled out. At the mention of singing, he smiled warmly "the muse comes in many forms, even the beauty of logic."

Taking a seat, Basil smiled and asked "Care for lunch? Marko, our chef, has this wonderful knack for predicting a person's tastes rather well."

Jade smiled sweetly and sat across from him. "Sure lunch sounds wonderful.." She said and put her elbows on the table and threaded her fingers together and put her chin on top of them. "So what exactly do you paint? If you don't mind me asking..." She asked him curiously.

"Gay erotica mostly." Basil said with a grin as Marko came over.

"HIIIII!" Marko said with a shocking effimanite voice, seeing as the 2 ton green dragon looked rather intimdating. "I am Marko and you must be Jade, Yoko has told me so much about you!"

Jade nodded and smiled. "To each his own..." She said then she kinda jumped when Marko said hi seeing as she wasn't expecting him. "Yeah I'm Jade and I've heard a lot about you as well Marko it's nice to meet you... " She said smiling sweetly to the giant dragon.

Marko offered his tail for a "hand"shake. "My my, I can see why he likes you, you are beautiful." A loud thrum filled the air as Marko purred like a cat.

Jade smirked and shook the dragon's giant tail. "Well I'd be careful this rose has thorns..." She said and giggled and winked at the dragon then giggled more.

"Well some folks like a bit of slap and tickle." giggled Marko, nuzzling amongst Jade.

"I should warn you, dragons get playfully affectionate when they like someone, and well, their tongues are quite prehensile." Basil chuckled, it was common for dragons to tease others with their tongue as a sign of friendlyness.

Jade giggled as he nuzzled her. "What do you mean 'prehensile'?" She asked him curiously. She'd never actually heard that word before, not that she was stupid or anything.

Marko stuck his tongue out and picked up a mug with with, long tongue curling around the handle as Basil said "It means it is as dexterous as say, a finger."

Jade blushed lightly. "Oh ok..." She said not really knowing how to respond. "I didn't know people could do stuff like that with their tongues..." She said giggling a little and nuzzled Marko back gently.

"You clearly don't know my father." Basil snorted, causing Marko to break into a wild fit of giggles, managing to get out "Oh you don't know the half of it Basil." You see, Marko has a thing for humans and Karasu, Basil's father, was more then happy to oblige Marko.

Jade shook her head. "Nope and apparently I don't want to..." She said and giggled a little. "So what exactly do you guys want to talk about?" She asked them curiously.

"Well for starters, are you a friend or a "friend" to my son Yoko?" basil asked.

"Wait, Yoko likes girls?!" Marko asked with awe.

Jade blinked blankly for a second. "Well right now we're just friends and I don't know if it will be more than that it depends on him... I mean I like him but I'm not sure if he likes me the same way..." She said nonchalantly and shrugged.

"Does his face get all red when he is around you?" Basil asked. He knew his son was very shy, and probably was too embrassed to openly admit to his feelings.

Jade smiled. "Yeah actually he does from time to time..." She said smiling sweetly. "I actually think it's kinda cute..." She said and giggled a little.

"He is adorable, through I should let you know, he isn't the strongest guy, truthfully, I thought he would be a submissive like his mother."

Jade shrugged. "I know he's not the strongest guy... but for the submissive part... I'm not so sure... he's got a pretty fiery spirit..." She said smiling sweetly at him.

Marko giggled "You misunderstand, by submsive, we mean is on the recieving end of anal sex."

Jade blushed lightly. "Well I don't think he's gay so I don't know if that'll happen... " She said smiling sweetly and giggled a little.

"Well, there is always a strap on." Marko pointed out. "Don't have to be gay to like assplay."

Jade shook her head. "Well we'll cross that bridge when we get to that..." She said and giggled a little.

Basil chuckled and said "That reminds me, I should warn you. All the males in our family are rather "Blessed" if you will. You will find my son isn't "lacking"'

Jade blushed a deep red. "Um.. uh... thanks for that info..." She said still blushing.

Marko giggled as he said "It's fair warning."

Jade sighed. "Yeah well I'm not exactly looking for sex at the moment so I'm not too worried about that... I'm just more worried about him actually liking me first..." She said and giggled a little.

"Oh I am sure he does, he is a total romantic." Giggled Marko. "He asked me what kind of roses he should get for you."

Jade blushed lightly. "I like roses but I'm more of a tulip girl myself..." She said and giggled a little. "But that's still really sweet..." She said smiling softly and looking down at the table thinking of Yoko.

"Has he shown you the garden yet?" Basil asked with a smile. "And if you ask nicely, Darvy may give you two some privacy out there."

Jade smiled. "I've seen them... they're beautiful... but I like seeing them outside giant walls... " She said smiling sweetly. "The way they're set up now it's too... I don't know the exact word... it's like they aren't wild and free to grow how they want they're in little groups..." She said not really knowing how to say it. "I like wild fields where the flowers all mingle and mix... showing that even things so different can get along great...' She said smiling sweetly.

"They are only like that because it keeps Sage happy, Darvy wants them to grow free." Basil said warmly.

"In fact, I really think you should meet him, I promise you will like him and his flowers."

Jade smiled at him. "Thanks.... He sounds pretty cool... I feel like I'm the only girl here though..." She said and giggled a little. "I mean I haven't met a single girl... only guys..." She said and giggled more. "Oh well I can hold my own with the guys..." She said smiling sweetly showing her small fangs.

"That is because most of us aren't into girls." Basil giggled. "I swing that way occasionally but I am mated."

Marko stuck out his tongue childishly "Ew, girls, they gots cooties!"

Jade giggled. "No we don't... you're just a chicken..." She said and stuck her tongue out back at the dragon playfully. "And I kind of figured that mostly everyone else was into guys..." She said and giggled alittle.

"Because guys are awesome." MArko said with his snout turned up.

Jade smirked. "I never said they weren't... and personally I don't blame you for liking guys more... most women are lying, backstabbing, grudge-holding, bitches..." She said and shrugged.
