Flamestar stretched out, unsheathing his claws, as he woke up.
Knowing that ShadowClan had just been born, Flamestar padded out of the leaders den to his first member, Grasspool.
"StarClan understands that all four Clans just started, and leaders and deputies and such are very slowly being selected. I am very thankful for them" Grasspool mewed.
"Yes, Grasspool. That is a reason why you chose to not be deputy. You are a good cat, Grasspool. Being your mentor was very benfiting and fun for me. Especially as a leader."
Grasspool dipped his head to Flamestar at what he said.
"Would you like to go hunt and share the fresh-kill we catch?" Grasspool asked.
Flamestar nodded.
"That's fine. I want to see your hunting skills, too!" Flamestar mewed. Grasspool felt pressure on him.
"Wait, I wonder how the other Clans are doing!?" Grasspool stalled.
"We've just started. Very thougtful. We can hunt after we visit the othe Clans. There is no nastiness between the Clans yet, so StarClan has strangely granted us permission to talk to each other in our own Clans. Let's go" the ShadowClan leader mewed.
Many thoughts and questions raced through Grasspool's head, but he kept quiet.
