(NO. NONONONO.
/NOBODY/ CAN WIN THE GAME.
IF YOU /MENTION/ THE GAME, OR EVEN /THINK/ OF IT, YOU LOSE THE GAME.
SINCE /YOU/ MENTIONED THE GAME TO ME, IT MEANS /YOU/ THOUGHT OF THE GAME, SO YOU LOST THE GAME AS WELL.
AHAHAHA.)

Rita smirked at the knight's reaction to the comment about her superior. Ah, this may be fun if they didn't rip each others throats out. Not saying anything, she looked around the ship as well when Sodia made her makeshift torch.

Sighing, Rita could find nothing, and with her leg, she couldn't even get around to stand, let alone walk. Sodia would be able to explore for them but..."Perhaps it would be best if we just stayed in one spot. I mean, I can't move and you don't want to end up falling with that torch if you start wandering around. I don't wanna be a marshmellow, thank you."

(LOOOL, IT'S OKAY. AND I'M SORRY MINE'S SHORTER. :CCC)

((Yes well, I thought of the game last, thus I was last <s>man</s> women standing. So... I win. So ha. >8D Your logic cannot beat mine, for my logic is absolute!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!))

Sodia glanced back at Rita, a small frown etched across her face as she lowered her makeshift torch slightly, as it was in danger of setting several cobwebs aflame.

"...you're probably right." She finally muttered, slowly sliding herself back down to the ground in front of the young mage still looking sour.

"I probably wouldn't be able to make it that far with my leg and arm like this." And while she hated to admit it, the young mage was right again about the marshmallow comment. With her ankle snapped and her entire leg feeling like it was on fire (as well as one of her arms completely broken) the likelihood of her tripping and setting the entire ship on fire was fairly high.

"I wish I'd brought Witcher with me..." Sodia muttered, staring down at the dusty floor dully. "At least he'd be able to alert the Captain and get us some help." Well done, Sodia. she thought bitterly, You really thought that one through. You were going on an old ship in the middle of NOWHERE! What if it had sunk? What if it had caught fire or just fallen apart? Then where would you be? Argh... You're a knight! You're supposed to think these things through!

(OBJECTION!! <--clickyy lol)

Rita sighed, leaning back slightly, only finding no pole to support her. Leaning foward, the mage rested her elbow on her good leg and pressing her palm against her cheek.

As if reading the knight's mind, Rita commented boredly,"Aren't you a knight? Shouldn't you have asked for assistance when you were sent out to a ship in the middle of nowhere? On that note..why didn't your Commandant send anyone with you in the first place? You'd think he'd know better than to send his second-in-command to a...deserted ship by herself."

Sitting back up again, Rita stretched tiredly. Her body throbbed in protest, most likely bruised and scratched...and of course sore from the fall. She wasn't able to tell if she was bruised or scratched though, as, even with the makeshift torch, any tears or rips in her clothes seemed to be invisible.

Suddenly, something tickled her foot, causing the mage to freeze. Looking down, she saw nothing and shook her head,"M-Must be the wind..." freezing again, she realized that her and Sodia were in a dusty, murky part of the ship where no wind could enter.

((.....take your objection and shove it. >_>
...OVERRULED!))

"...hmph." Sodia turned away from Rita, her arms crossed tightly around her chest. "Just... s-shut up. Of course I thought about asking someone to come with me, but I didn't think that I'd need it. I didn't need to burden the captain with bothering to organize an entire brigade just to come look at a ship..."

An aggravated sigh escaped Sodia's lips as she glanced around the the lower floor of the ship, looking for something anything that might help them. Glancing over at Rita, she frowned as she saw the look of unease on the mage's face. Even with a knight's training, the look sent shivers up her spine.

"...what's wrong with you? You look ready to pass out..."

(You can't overrule the Edgeworth. >8C
YOUR OVERRULE IS OVERRULED.)

Rita blinked, looking at the knight. Despite the fact that something was still tickling her foot, the mage meakly responded,"It's nothing. I'm fine."

She didn't further bother Sodia about not bringing a fellow knight to the ship. She hadn't even bothered to question as to why Rita was here in the first place, she just lived with the fact that the mage only mentioned that she was "going to kill the old man when they came back".

Closing her eyes, Rita took a deep breath. Of course the ship smelt horrible, but down here...the scent seemed to grow stronger with each passing second...and she was barely able to stand it. She wondered if Sodia didn't notice, or if she just didn't want to mention it. Keeping her eyes closed, Rita could only dimly mutter,"We'd better get out of here soon..."

(... XD;;;
SORRY FOR THE WEIRDNESS. *stabbed*)
