Yep, it's gonna be here too, & is capable of destroying almost ALL targets in a single shot.

THe only exceptions are super-heavy vehicles (apart from the Battle fortress), & the squiggoth. These usually take 2 shots to destroy, though the Squiggoth's easier to kill than the majority of the others.

Certainly doesn't act that way to enemy targets though, seeing as it can hurl a Chaos Dreadnought as far as a battle cannon hurls a guardsman.
Oh, & I forgot to mention that it does destroy them on one shot flat out.

And what about imbalance issues? blink.gif

QUOTE
gargantuan squiggoth,

The Shadowsword was designed deliberately so that it destroys such tough targets very easily.

When I was testing it, I found that Infantry had a great advantage against the shadowsword en masse, not like against the BaneBlade.

THe Scorpion is a slightly different matter, for is has half a chance of being able to resist the attack by a great amount. That's if it works at that time.

Orks in particular can easily just load up on Tank bustas, & get a Nob & Mega armoured Nob squad & get as close as possible.
Wartrucks make it even better as they're cheap transports for tankbustas & Nobs (not MANs though).

Necrons indeed would hate this tank though. However, if one can keep the Monolith as close to it as possible, then the Shadowsword's minimum raneg of the volcano cannon will stop it from being effective.
It can out-maneuver the Monolith though.
This' why I want that Pylon to be textured, though Alan is doing nothing at the moment, & I don't know why.

Chaos have the hardest time taking out the Shadowsword.

I recently made Monstrous creatures MUCH more powerful against vehicles in close combat though, so the BLoodthirster can fly over & get into close combat.
If there isn't anything else shooting at it, then the Shadowsword should be destroyed outright.
The Baneblade can be taken down in a similar fashion, but it's harder.

When combined with the Baneblade, they can support each other & are almost completely unstoppable.

As long as I remember, Volcano Cannon isn't teamplate? If so infantry should easily overcome it... If not twin-linked HB turrets unsure.gif

It uses the Ordnance template, & can kill any hero or model under it in one shot (unless it has mass/structure points).

Oh, it has a re-load time of 7 seconds as well. In Tabletop, it'd be more like 3.5 seconds.

It had single_shot activated to represent the charge when it shot. You can't delay non-projectile weapons without turning this on.

Unfortunately, it was getting annoying, so after I sent it to you, I re-worked the animation & bit & made it fire instantly, so that it fires normally now.

You have to click on them twice, being a single-shot weapon unfortunately.

As I said, I have removed this in my version so that it acts a bit more normal, with the sacrifice of some of the coolness of it.

A new voice for the Shadowsword? Not sure on that one.

You could always find another voice actor though.

No you didn't Hawk. Show us your pictures then.

As for the sound issues, I'm not that bothered about correcting the sound volumes, though I might get round to it when I'm so bored.

Currently working on Stim's Chaos Land Raider voices now.
