Well, I'll guess I'll start off.
My favourite game of all time has to be Final Fantasy VIII.
Undoubtably one of the best games of all time.
My favourite moment was at the game's climax, and after getting through 4 discs of the game, the moment when Squall and Rinoa kiss at last is truelly unforgettable. It brought a tear to my eye when the words 'The End' appeared on the screen. I had witnessed a true epic.
Call me a wuss, but that is what I think.

No, I am more sensitive to things like this.

I also too own a copy of that game. Yes, it's old, but I too completed it, & the end scene is very good.

The ending scene was probably even better than in FF 10. Shame that there was no speech in VIII though.

Total annihilation is said to be one of the most moddable games around, yet I managed to get models into DOW, fully animated, textured etc.
& despite my efforts, my attempts at getting a decent model into TA failed!

Anime & Disney stuff combines. What a theme of a game!

That really puts a fantasy feel in it!

Oooh, I have a great gaming moment!
It only happened on Monday, but I will remember it forever!
I was on WA 2v2 Into The Breach, with an all SM game.
My team-mate was English, and the opponents were Spanish.
One of them knew very basic English, so was saying stuff like "Your mum!"
and "F*** U!"
It was winding me up a bit, but then I looked to my right.
Lying there was my "Art of Offence Around the World" book. Then I thought "Hmmmm..."
I looked up one of the insults, and typed in (in Spanish):
"De por si ya eres feo, pero encima tu madre te viste muy mal..."
Which means: "You are ugly and your mother dresses you funny"
He got really Peed off, which sprouted another wave of "F*** your mum!", until he quit out. I was rolling about on the floor in laughter. Absolutely hilarious, and I won!!!

Oh my god! I can't believe how some people take gaming so seriously.

One time On Halo CE, I was playing against this guy on Death Island.
he was hogging the banshees & basically using vehicles to hunt me. He was wining at 1st, but I then kept lobbing plasma grenades at the shees & shot at the weak points with a shotgun.
He got killed a few times due to those tactics, then I got a banshee & started dog fights with him.
Because I tactfully aimed at him indirectly, I kept acing him. He got so annoyed that he went into a swearing raged & closed down the server. I never saw this guy online again!

It's funny when they make such a fuss about it, then they quit - & it's all over!

Currently I'm playing RTW (Rome: Total War), which is a truly brilliant game, and rivals DOW:WA as my fave PC game.

Ooooh, I just got back to playing DOW a week ago after a lot of modding with the Battlefortress (video now on filefront)!

I made a new map that I wish to release with the mod. It's a nature reserve!

Yeah, too bad that there're no proper creatures to go in it!

It's a 2 player map. I'll probably release a screen-shot or 2 for it to go with the mod.

In the mean time, I'm working on the CHaos Land Raider (thanks Milaithnir) & Helios.

My favourite type of game has to be the first-person shooter genre, preferably on the PS2, seems my comp is so s**te.
My fave game has to be Timesplitters 2- though similar to many other games, it is still an orginal classic with quality barely matched by many newer games.
However my fave gaming moment has to of been when I was at school- back in year 9, at the very end of it, the DT block got a new computer room- all networked together. Our teacher had loaded onto them his own personal copy of Unreal Tournament and the whole class was playing it (or at least, the boys of two separate classes were- most of the girls had dissappeared elsewhere). I had arrived late after being somewhere for half the lesson, and so I just joined in- within 5 MINUTES I was in 2ND PLACE RANKING!- People who had being playing for half an hour, and I had beaten them! The funny thing was, I had never even played this game before, at that time I had only played a few different comp games, and all at Zany's house. I was a very happy chappy that day!... smile.gif biggrin.gif tongue.gif cool.gif
