There's another vehicle too - the Storm Serpent:

Epic model picture

Here's the GW description - "The Storm Serpent carries a Wraithgate Webway portal, making it a heavily armoured and mobile Wraithgate; no one expects troops to spew forth from the belly of a Super Heavy Tank, let alone whole Warhosts! This blister contains a single Eldar Storm Serpent super-heavy Grav-tank."

It's basically a moving webway portal.

Webway? But it has that suspictiously-looking unbelievably-large-for-Eldar Cannon?

What the, something wierd happened with the server.

I plan that the suppoert cap for both tanks will be 5. That should work.

GLG should be modifying the killa kan model for the dread, but he seems to be awfully slow. Infact, I don't think that anything has actually happened after I sent him the files.

The storm serpent has similar firepower to the falcon, & that's probably an old picture. I couldn't find anything better.

i'd have thought lower than baneblade levels, perhaps 7-9k? considering they are likely far more manuvarable

All vehs are standartised to 1400 hp, the difference makes the armor, BB is the toughest having 2400 and hardest armor!

Actually, the Scorpion has 9500 HP, though I will probably change that to 8750HP.
The Cobra will have 9500 HP, since it'll need the extra HP.

However, both vehicles will have the vehicle_med armour, since they're Eldar vehicles.

The scorpion has a speed of 40, though that may be increased to 45 or higher. THe Cobra will be slightly slower.

THere's another Eldar super-heavy tank called the void spinner. While that would be a very mean tank, I prefer the idea of the storm serpent. THe Void spinner would be a fall back option. It's basically the super-heavy version of the night spinner grav tank (see the FW range).

and likely long set up times...i gave up playing agressively because of the damage levels in fatality...if i moved, i would die, same will be with these tanks likely, remember the cobra has pretty short range

THe eldar super-heavy tanks will be probably at least as expensive as the baneblade, despite the weaker armour & lower firepower.

Remember, Pulsars are very mean anti-vehicle weapons, & these things are fast! They have the jump ability too (well, the Cobra might not).

Imagine that:
Horde of preds appear, got hit by insane range/damage Eldar weapons, blows-up, eldar uber jumps to chaos base... BB,GG...
You need tough buildings, man.

The main method of countering these super-heavy tanks will be to use lots of artillery.

Orks can overwhelm the tanks with lots of little annoying vehicles, as well as using looted leman russes to shoot at the tanks from longer ranges & perhaps damage them severely.
A squiggoth can be used as a distraction for the Cobra, & if the BFortress gets put in, then that can be used to damage the tanks too.
If not, then just transport as many tank busta squads as possible, unload & then destroy. Easy!

The Imperial guard can use Basalisks & Leman russes to again bombard the tanks from long range. That should work.

Marines can use orbital bombardment, or use assault squads to fly over & use melta bombs. 3 preds & a Land raider can provide a nifty distraction too.

Chaos well... Defilers with indirect fire upgrades could soften up the tanks, then Chaos termies & loads of other deep-striking things can go down & try to destroy them. Kinda hard though.

I have to go. I'll be back later tonight, maybe.

I think you're being greatly unfair to all the other teams in DoW by just focusing on Eldar stuff- you're making them too powerful and greatly unbalancing the gameplay in their favour by planning all these super heavies.

Do some other stuff before you get carried away with Eldar- try to level the playing field and mix things up a bit.
