Ah, it is good to know that the TTRU mod is progressing in another direction once more!
Today, I managed to get a load of online games played via the Tabletop Round-up mod with a few folks from the Relic Forums. They said they enjoyed each game. Furthurmore, I've got replays too! The 1st replay is with Bloodrage_tau, on tranquility's end. This got boring half-way through as I teched for half of the match to get the race's super-unit (this one's new). The 2nd replay is another 1vs1, but this time against Promythyus. This one is somewhat quicker & has a very amusing ending (hint - assasinate rules). The final replay is a 3 player Free-for-all match, in which WVA sniper, Chapperlain & I fought each other to the death on the giant map of Kautoran island. Link - http://www.savefile.com/files/944247 NOTE - these replays will only work with version 1.34 beta of the Tabletop round-up mod. Any other version/mod will not work & will therefore give you a sync error. You have been warned. So, like them? M.K.M.D! -------------------- |

Got another one with the same version of the mod on the City of titanic tales map in a 2v2 battle. Very frantic & long. http://www.savefile.com/files/950538 M.K.M.D! -------------------- |

I'm not going to do that. The Reaver titan is far too big for Dawn of War & will imbalance the game out to high hell.
I do however have the improved animations for the Warhound, but I might not bother to implement them as they're not actually new animations, they're a complete re-do. Therefore It'll be hell to re-introduce them. -------------------- |

Winterdyne completely re-did the warhound rig from scratch as he didn't like what I did (it's excessive, but that's what happened). The re-rig wasn't necessary seeing as he literally skinned the meshes to bones rather than turning the meshes into bones (which is worse IMO as the warhound's a machine), & as a result the feet bend when it moves & doesn't look completely mechanical.
The only thing I have against my Warhound rig are the movement animations, which are dodgy purely because I suck at animating walking motions. Hell, he even made a new single death animation, which is a shame as I made 3. Thudmeizer - I tested AI donations + heroes with a 2v2 map online, 2 humans vs 2 AI. There were no fatal problems. It was a little laggy (I mean a little, not a huge struggle for life in lag), but for some reason the Ork AI player did almost nothing whilst The chaos AI attacked me properly. It just sat in its base & built some banners around. Then again, the map being used was one I made a while ago, which probably doesn't suit the AI very well as I didn't place any AI markers around the map. -------------------- |
