Hello. This' a new section of the TTRU boards I decided to put up, for as I've gathered, there're a fair amount of people here that like to play online games.
This part of the forums are here so that members may organise online games for Dawn of War. I aim for this category to perhaps encourage more of the members here to get together & meet outside forums & actually as players in Dawn of war to compete with each other & have a good laugh. In addition to the normal forum rules, there're some additional ones you must be aware of & equally respect: 1. If you are gonna try to organise a game, be welcoming & friendly, making sure that it's on topic. I don't want anyone here to organise games for specific members only (unless it's a modded game, see rule 2). For example: "hello. I would like member X to play with me online tonight for a game of Dawn of War. no-one else is allowed to play & this match is password protected blah blah blah..." Such things can be done by PMing those members. 2. If you are gonna organise a modded game, you should make it easily distinguishable from a normal game. A good idea would be to put the mod's name at the beginning of the online game title. I will also allow password protected games for modded games if it proves necessary to avoid people with different mods or vanilla DC players from venturing in & playing. I advise members to make the password easily rememberable or identifyable, so that we can all easily get into such a game. Otherwise, I hope that we can all perhaps do some gaming here together. Have fun! -------------------- |

It appears I forgot close this thread. Regarding X-fire, Minaithnir2005 quoted this:
Whilst Xfire may be convenient, not all of us use it (me included), so please take that into account.
