To be honest, I didn't like the old scape half as much as I like the new scape. So many more features, quests, skills, mobs, weps, etc. and so much more to do. Jagex IS a company that cares about customer satisfaction, which is why they didn't just go "Oh, OK, you want 2006 scape? Alright!" If they had just left runescape like how people think they want it now, we would still be in the same situation, just with people begging for new updates instead. The game might have become less popular over time, but that is simply due to the fact that people move on. As the younger players grow up, they move on to other, more advanced MMOs, or even leave the MMO genre entirely.

Also, it annoys me when people talk about Jagex taking the wildy away, because they brought it back

Off topic, it's the same way with Pokemon. First gen wasn't the best, and all you people who think it was can go jump in a pit

RuneScape is now desperately trying to save their game by copying what the other popular MMOs out there has and slightly modify it. Deal with it, they're using Java to make their game, and it's 2012 now. It was a great game back ~2007 but with far more advanced graphics and the competition of the other games, RS is slowing failing. Now it's just awful. More and more people stopped playing RS, which means less and less money for Jagex. It ended up with this ridiculous SoF, but it caused even more hate and it's actually helping the game to fall apart instead.

I miss RS, 2007 and before, but bringing back that into the time now, will not help either.

I think I'm the only one that dosen't give a crap about sof and solomon update o_o if you carry on doing what you like doing in RS despite the updates you'll still enjoy the game like me

Only reason I want this is to keep warring the way it is

when they change the combat styles to a similar version of every game, RS is terrible in comparison. They cant compete by going the same way, they need to be different.
