Finally I got my selfe a professional machine ..... I allready got 1, but now I have a second laugh.gif

I bought a Panasonic from a tv station a few years ago ......

but now I bought a bigger, heavier machine! think you can also use it as a guard dog ninja.gif

so in the videoplayer collection we have:

a jvc pal and ntsc vhs player

an as good as new vcc/video2000 player with scart connection

a betamax player, that plays fine ..... but I cant watch 2 tapes after another .... machine needs too cool down ...... so Im looking for a second beta player ..... also I bought a new beta tape ffw/rewinden ..... so the player doesnt has to rewind the tapes anymore

Still regret not buying this one, few years ago there was a bunch of Mokroos at a regular fleemarket with a pile of six or seven of these beauties and I skipped it thinking they'd be back and wouldn't sell the whole pile anyway but I've never seen 'em again... sad.gif

isnt Time Base Correction more for when you are recording on vhs instad for when yôu are playing a vhs unsure.gif

I have two of these JVC Duplicator machines.
Real beasts as you called them.
Mine was used by a videocompany to make copies of rental tapes.
You can maybe call them recording slaves.

indeed is a duplicater. the old owner, who sold all his video machines, told me the machine is also fine for playing tapes ..... and for the amount I could buy it, I coulsnt say no!

havent tested the player ...... first I have to complete the set-up for my new video rome ..... think this will happen after i finished my studies in a few weeks cool.gif

and nice plus down.gif each time when you turn on the machine ...... it plays this old-skool mono electronic song "love me tender" wacko.gif
