I have 1 dutch square box in my collection.......and I know 1 collecter from Belgium who also has one.

I saw several dutch square sleeves, but the were allways without the big box.

the German square boxes are more commen.....they are still very rare, but every now and than their is one for sale on the German ebay.

Im wondering if their are more people over here that have Dutch tapes with these huge sleeves (........incl box?)...... or are there other countries that also released tapes with boxes like these?

and this is the only tape I have that still has the orriginal square box (in mint condition)

cool peter, is the sleeve uncut?

sadly not, the scan is of the entire sleeve so it is quite severely cut...

I was thinking about the catalog numbers on these tapes:
could 79 stand for the year 1979?
if so, then my tiroler tape (7901) might be the first ever release!?!? ohmy.gif

I dont know...........both train to durabgo tapes have 7938 number......

I just bought a "new" big box tape. it was from a guy who had an old videorecorder, with just 1 tape. i came up with a theory, that when you bought a videorecorder back in the days, you maybe got 1 tape with it..........that theese big boxes were so called presents that came with your new recorder..........

this is the tape im expecting wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif not good to show something that you dont have yet............but im really excited!
