I'm gonna shoot 70 crappy ninja scenes this year and then I will have a crappy ninja movie. It's a lousy ambition, but at least I will be able to say I'm the director of a ninja movie cool.gif

Here is the first I made. Edited today and uploaded for your viewing pleasure:
Scene 1: A ghost like ninja appears and disappears while there is fireworks in the background. War sounds serve as audio.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbZ7H-F87Uc

Quality is crap, so it fits with the budget. When I got 70 scenes I thought it would be nice if I released the film on vhs in big ex rental boxes. But that's something for later.

nice idea!!

are you going to show off some fight moves too? wink.gif and is there a plot?
otherwise this is going to be more experimental than IFD... which is also not bad for a ninja movie laugh.gif

Thanks, guys.

Yeah, thereīs gonna be fights! A plot... maybe.
Iīm going to shoot a short fight scene today in which a white ninja dies. Iīll post the link here as soon as itīs shot, edited and uploaded.

Tomorrow Iīll be heading for Austria on a skiing trip. Of course Iīll bring the ninja too. Think itīll look nice. Ninja with mountains in the background, skiing ninja etc. tongue.gif

Well, here's the next scene, something a bit more philosophical. Including title card.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ySznIA4mhU

Gotta get some fights in there, so will have to bribe some friends with beer to participate. I'm thinking some Bud Spencer & Terence Hill sound fx for those. For now I'm the only available actor, but a couple of scenes like these won't harm the flick. The outcome of the whole thing will probably be quite eclectic as there's also going to be some comedic aspects (intentional an unintentional).
Next up will be a black gloved killer who sneaks up on the white ninja, who's taking a bath. And that one will contain some action. No females though. Got no budget for that. Shot the footage already, but need to edit it. You might think there won't be a plot, but there will be. It's all gonna make sense.

Thanks!

Here's another scen uploaded yesterday:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECG74gPgblU

There will be a scene before the fireworks scene. In this particular scene it is new year's eve and the black ninja goes out to steal a 5 1/4 floppy disk (you know 'em from way back). Then follows the fireworks scene which is going to have the credits over it.

A gangster is ordered to get back the floppy disk that has, of course, super important information. He must go after the black ninja who is supposedly in the mountains somewhere. However, in the mountains there is not only a black ninja, but also a white one. Of course the gangster gets to the wrong one first and kills him. But no floppy disk. So he finds out he got the wrong ninja. This causes a bit of a jam, because now the white ninja is pissed and starts to fight back from the grave (so to speak).

Iīve been thinking of some of the criticism and how it (so far) doesn't add up. I must avoid that and snap it in the bud quickly or thewhole thing will become utterly random. So with these upcoming developments the fireworks and the mountains all of a sudden make sense.

I'm going to put all the scenes on Youtube, but not in chronological order, so at a first glance it might seem a jumbled mess. But now I'm confident it will actuall be somewhat coherent. The end product I will probably premiere at some torrent site, unless I get some crazy distributor to put it on dvd.

For the gangster I'm thinking of the white suit wit the Hawaiian shirt. Yesterday I was at a party store (don't know what you call them in English) and saw fake moustaches and such there. The gangster will have a fake moustache and sideburns. I believe my dad has a pair of those oversized Rayban sunglasses. I'll use that, and perhaps a cigar, as a finishing touch for that character. Some dude like the ones in The Beastie Boys video for Sabotage.

Haha. Thatīd be a nice ītributeī to the days of old. Nah, but then it would look too crappy. Itīs bad enough as it is already. A nice lbx tape, maybe hand numbered. Some naive artwork slapped on there, maybe Iīll draw it myself with some pencils, or hiresome 6 year old tongue.gif

If anybody will be (or is) in the neighbourhood of The Hague, they are welcome to be part of the first Dutch ninja crap fest ever! Don't matter what you look like. If you're ugly, you get to play a ninja laugh.gif
