THE WARNER ARCHIVE COLLECTION is offering a DVD-R of DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK for the first time ever, direct from the studio. They have other interesting titles as well, but all a little steep at $19.95. And worse, for international buyers... the site can only accept orders within the U.S. Probably a rights issue for many of the titles.

Check out the site... lots of rarities seeing the light of day.

Thanks for the heads up and yeah bummer about their not selling to non US buyers. Fortunately I have a dvdr from a Danish vhs so I'm all right.

Another cool title they are offering is FROM HELL IT CAME. The ultimate tree-monster cult horror film from 1957.
Quite entertaining.

Hopefully they will offer international buyers the opportunity to purchase some of these gems from the WARNER ARCHIVE in the near future.

A friend of mine bought FROM HELL IT CAME recently on a trip to Spain. I was pretty surprised, I didn't think it had been released anywhere on official dvd (I myself have a US boot from vhs). The Spanish disk has really great quality and comes with the original English audio track.
