Nick Nicholson has just suffered a major heart attack! sad.gif

Oh no!!! I lost a close relative 12 days ago and Nick Nicholson was kind and wrote a nice comment to my blog post about it (on my Filipino film blog) and now he himself is fatally ill!!!

If you get to see this, Nick, I wish you the best and sincerely hope you get well again. Our best wishes and prayers are with you.

These truly awful news came from Bert Spoor (another old actor from Filipino action and war movies) via Dvdmaniacs and his own site. I hope Bert doesn't mind my posting it here:

Another Westerner who starred in action and war movies in the Philippines in the 80s was Bert Spoor from Holland. Recently he has opened a blog where he writes about his time in Filipino film making (both in Dutch and English) and he is a friend of Nick's and will post news updates on Nick's condition.
