The Italian TV version of TOP SENSATION (broadcast under that title) is quite heavily cut and also features alternate 'clothed' takes of at least one scene...

The American SW video version, under the Jerry Gross title change of THE SEDUCERS is seemingly uncut or at least when compared to the Italian TV print at least it appears more complete. However, the end sequence where the psycho is manning the boat whilst saying "Idioti...idioti tutti" over and over is missing on the Jerry Gross/SW video print...

The German video releases are apparently identical to each other and the copy i have of one of these on DVD-R seems to be very short in running time. Also, new scenes were shot for the German release that feature German actors in a weird, throw-away sub-plot meant to add a little extra "thrill" to the script! It is cut...

I have not seen the Spanish tape so Mike is the one who would need to talk about that one here. Although, from what i have been told, it is the longest video version available and runs quite distinctively longer than the few other versions that have crawled out of the woodwork...

Thanks for that infos Wanyon. I own a DVD copy which contains the uncut version edited together from different sources. I was curious to know which could be this possible sources. Probably a part from spanish video redubbed in italian.

I wouldn't have a clue on that composite you own i'm afraid. I made a very easy-assemble composite using the English dubbed print and tacking on the missing footage from the climax from the Italian TV source version i also have. But i am not aware of any other composite. Maybe you can time it and let us know the exact running time as well as any info on language, print condition, onscreen title used, etc?
