MONDO COLLECTO
US independent mondo / shockumentary Directed by R.P. Whalen in 2006 Narration: Rock and Roll Ray Featuring: Ted V. Mikels Produced by Stump Productions Filmed in glorious VHS-C MONDO COLLECTO is a weird mondo about modern collectors who collect unusual things: knives, swords, old guns, Jesus icons & relative items, horror VHS & books, toy figures of famous movies, and more... According to the produces it took 4 years to be made. This is a thrilling film, not really shocking (only the Modonna story is really sick) but much entertaining. B-movie director & producer Ted V. Mikels presents his "old weapons" collections, he even wears some of them dressed like an old warrior. What a figure he is with his funny big white moustache !! By his words you feel he's either a wise guy or a lunatic  There is also a funny "Drunk Dialed by Ted V. Mikels" phonecall in the extras of the DVD we received. The movie visits several collectors' houses and they present their collections himselves. Modonna is a psycho lady who collects Jesus relative items: icons, crosses, statues, etc...She had a penis-candle that "she likes to think it's Jesus' !!! Also she has a whip hanging from a cross and she whips her ass with it when "she's a bad girl". Yes, yes, she does that in front of the camera  As I said above this is really sick. Between the collectors' presentations there are some wild dances by go-go girls (very clever idea indeed) Also we see somewhere a Super-8 short b/w lesbian vampiric film shot excusivly for this mondo (in fact is only a bite from female to female but is a very bloody & hot scene) The DVD contains: -Complete 87 min. Feature -Scene Access (very useful here) -Drunk Dialed by Ted V. Mikels (as I said, very funny) -2 Deleted scenes (nothing special...) -Original internet trailer (great!) -1 Easter Egg (!!)
