This Sunday Greek Newspaper "Eleftherotypia" offered 3 DVDs of Dario Argento's films: "Suspiria", "Phenomena", and "The Bird with the crystal plumage".
It costs 4 euros. The DVDs are 4:3 , not great quality, but acceptable. They are in a case and there's also a booklet with photos, an intro and reviews by film critic Ninos Fenek Mikelidis , who actually praises the films (!). |

I saw the TV promotion but I forgot about it...You could find it later in Monastiraki I guess. How about language & running times? Are the subtitles removable?
As for Mikelidis, well, he was ever a more free spirit from the other "rats", I suppose...What I really hate is how these critics in Greece bother with Italian & Asian films only where USA market bothers with them...And all these critics are supposely kind of communists...It's a mad-mad world |

Better late than never, I suppose, I checked them
Quality is OK but they're fullscreen and only Phenomena is in English. Greek subtitles are removable. Well, I think is just for Argento's collectors/completists |
