Il raggio infernale
Gianfranco Baldanello (1967)
Entertaining eurospy. Gordon Scott does a nice job in the lead. Some good action, nice ladies and Nello Pazzafini as one of the bad guys. Eagle 6 tape is widescreen (ish).
6,5/10

Seinfeld: A XXX Parody
Lee Roy Myers (2009)
My favourite sitcom ever got the porn treatment. It involves the porn Nazi instead of the soup Nazi. This gives Crammer (hehe) an idea: He starts to make his own porn film. Not too bad in the humour department. It looks like a b version of the original, which I found pretty funny. The sex is not too remarkable. Great tits on Cassandra Calogera though.
5/10

Pulp Friction
Daniel Dakota (2007)
Porn version of Pulp Fiction, and not even the first that's titled Pulp Friction at that. Anthony Spinelli made one too in the nineties. The opening scene was funny. Mr. Marcus did a nice Ving Rhames impersonation with a lot of swearing. 'John Travolta' was horrible, he did a much better job as the porn Nazi. The only good sex scene is a threesome with two Asian babes.
4/10

Bionic Ninja
Godfrey Ho (1985)
A CIA agent reads a book about ninja's and becomes a ninja himself overnight. Only in a Godfrey Ho film! Ok stupid action and even some nudity. Definitely not Ho's worst. Part of the cheapo 4 movie set Ninja Collection by BCI. Sourced from VHS, but widescreen. Ninja in the Killing Field is also widescreen. Haven't looked at the other two yet (Death Code: Ninja & Ninja: American Warrior) Got this for less than 8 euro incl. p&p off ebay. Recommended buy if you're into ninja crap.
5,5/10

QUOTE (Harm @ Oct 31 2009, 04:00 PM)
My favourite sitcom ever

I really like Seinfeld too and at one point I thought about buying the entire series from a cheap shop in China. The seller promised that his DVDs were official Chinese releases... but then I looked at the cover.

too busy to do much film watching this week:

Dudes (1987) this is supposed to be a comedy... three dudes set out for the west coast and one of them gets shot, for real and totally random? didn't think it was that funny. What it has got going for it is a weird vibe like some 80's movies have, maybe inspired by After Hours here, but somehow it all felt just a little bit too off and going nowhere.
Wu jiao wa (1977) Bruce, Kung Fu Girls / Five Pretty Young Ladies girls kicking ass are always entertaining, even if they behave like toddlers and the plot is written for children.
Clean (2004) cool music and natural acting always makes an Assayas movie anjoyable, but I can see why this one got only average reviews (why I skipped it for so long too) the characters and plot are a bit superficial and they don't ever gel, making it almost like a movie made by someone who wants to make 'an Assayas movie' instead of the real deal. We do get cool cameo's by Metric, Tricky and David Roback (Mazzy Star) and a role for James Johnston (the Bad Seeds) though...

The night of the devils

I was in the right mood for a rewatch today , maybe the best italian horror movie IMO !

The Sky Is Falling / Las Flores del vicio

What an incredible movie !!! We see tales of decadence (drugs , greed , jealousy , ... ) infront of a spanish small-town scenery ...not only the outstanding performances by Caroll Baker and Dennis Hopper make this a gem , it also has great trippy + bizarre images as well as a grim undertone ... It somehow reminds me of David Lynch , but far more direct and obscure ! Soon to be re-watched , and I simply need a VHS release of it (on Derran Video , if I `m not mistaken) ! Truely superb !!!

lot's of cinema last week:

Antichrist (2009) after Sauna and Nightmare Detective 2 the third great artistic horror movie I've seen this year! Although I had kind of given up on Lars vor Trier I couldn't resist this one with the religious themes, talking animals, violent sexual imagery, fabulous Charlotte Gainsbourg and dedication to Tarkovsky. Loved every moment of it, some very memorable scenes and great cinematography... yet taking the religious elements to their conclusion von Trier seems to be acknowledging what his hardest critics have been saying for years, he hates women and think they should pay for betraying men and bringing sin into the world... and that is just... stupid.
New York, I Love You (2009) This one feels more like one big movie than the previous ode to love and big cities, Paris Je T'aime. Yet some of the short segements are still stronger than others, and the only thing that makes it really about New York is that the main focus is on immigrants, including the lovely Qi Shu (somehow uncredited on ImdB, or maybe I'm not looking right)
This Is It (2009) interesting to see Michael Jackson rehearsing his big show that wasn't to be
Panique au Village (2009) Paniek in het Dorp Absurd, wonderfully weird, refreshingly juvenile FUN with stop-motion animated farmland toys. When Cowboy, Indiaan and Paard go after the fishman who tried to steal their house, halfway through the movie, the story treathens to loose some of it's steam (big adventure and 'paniek' don't mix that well) yet the comeback at the end is more than worth it. inspired stuff!

and one strange DVD:
Freddy Got Fingered (2001) All I remember from Tom Green from when he was on tv a lot was that I didn't like him and never watched the show. But recently this movies was discussed on Twitch as a cult movie that was "so relentlessly unfunny that it crosses the line into dada-ism and its own kind of crazy genius". I just had to see that! And boy, there are a lot of WTF moments in this crazy, and indeed mostly unfunny, piece of.... genius? I wouldn't go that far, yet I'm still glad I've seen this and that someone was able to make a movie like this. It's a little bit special smile.gif

The secret of Hata Mari aka little orphan Sammy- hilarious XXX movie of a wicked woman trying to get the formula of a man which makes oil out of garbage and tries this by adopting his son from an orphanage. laugh.gif Very chauvinistic American XXX gem....

La donneuse- another dull French movie was my impression but after a while it turned into a exotic beach adventure with lots of nudiness featuring our very own Willeke van Ammelrooy in all her naked glory. smile.gif ..She was quite some piece of ass back then! tongue.gif

Maagd in moeilijkheden aka Un pucelle en or- now this was a dull French movie. The nudiness couldn't rescue this one. Looking at the beautiful sleeve could make you suspect the opposite but ... sad.gif

The angel and the beasts- nice flick with lots of naked stuff but lacking of violence IMO

Concorde affair- great film!

Kort Amerikaans- dull Dutch movie. Seen it before years and years ago and now see why I never gave it a rewatch.

The daring dobermans- sequel to 'the doberman gang' . Certainly not as good as the 'gang' but still very cool watching those dobermans.
The training in this one did not get the attention as it got in the 'gang'.

Drag me to hell- nice horror flick but nothing to get excited about. Sam Raimi little 'between' movie certainly has potential but the lame special FX makes it the way it is. And probably this was his intention.
But I enjoyed it on a superficial way cool.gif
