I went on Friday with Bill and another friend. We watched THE MATRIMONY, a Chinese poetic horror/drama:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0819785/

A nice film about haunted lost love, a revengful female ghost, a maid exorcist, a virgin who tries to win her lover's love taking the place of his dead lover...More drama than horror but well made and not boring at all! Excellent music, nice acting, 100% serious and tragic, and even some moments reminding hong kong horror of the 80s! A nice surprise from China!

I've also warched the Turkish SEMUM!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1153085/

What can I say? A cult colossus! Really enjoyable, and very well made! With the best visual f/x I've seen lately, unlimited fantasy, cult dialogues ("we've lost again, Devil")...
Exorcist and Lovecraft meet Islam !!! Semum is something like Kthulu for the Islam, the digital monster is very-very Lovecraftish, and towards the end the film copies Exorcist with a unique way! There are also travels in hell - the most terrifying hell I've ever seen! A unique example of how a cheap film can be great !!

I have high hopes for the new Turkish horror cinema

Do you have a trailer for this film? I love Asian ghost stories (except for Thai horror). Is it set in modern times?

I found one by myself in Youtube. Looks interesting.
