Really cool so far, is that Last Ninja computer game music in that last scene, i recognise the music from somewhere....

Anyway looking forward to more instalments!!

: )

Thanks! A bit slow lately. But I'll be upping some more scenes this weekend. I really want to bloody it up and put more fights in it, not like that lame one in the bath tub, haha (even tough it is funny).

The music is from, well.. see my sig. That game actually stole it from the film Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence. Used to play that game a lot on my Atari 800XL. Thought it'd be a nice nod. Just hope the rightful owners won't find out. But then, who cares about some low budget Dutch ninja film. I'll report back in this topic when I get some more scenes done. I've got some ideas cooking, so that won't be a problem. The real problem is me being the ony actor, haha. Even Godfrey Ho worked with more...

As you mentioned Godfrey Ho you could always try splicing in some scenes from movies featuring Richard Harrison lol,

I knew I recognised the music, wrong game though, very cool....

I thought the maximum length was 10 minutes.

I have never uploaded anything to Youtube so I don't know how it works but you can actually watch FULL LENGTH movies on YouTube now. Go here:

http://www.youtube.com/movies

And here's their horror section:
http://www.youtube.com/movies?p=None&s=None&b=10

The quality is pretty good (and you can even turn down the lights on the page, haha)

I was thinking of recycling ome material of a short movie I did, Attack of the Trash Can. In the true Godfrey Ho spirit tongue.gif

@Jack, yeah you're right. The 10 min. thing has now exceptions. Though when I upload I still get this message stating "no longer than 10 min."

Editing was pretty easy. Shooting was also, Ed Wood style, so no problems. Sound was fuckinŽ useless. Spent hours on the sound effects.

Anyway, here it is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bXtCBCh3TM
(if playback's alittle jerky, it's because the vid is still being processed)

Tomorrow, at least that's the plan, I'll be filming a scene that goes on prior to this one. The gangster receives the ninja's head in that same box. As that is not much fun, I decided that the gangster should piss on the severed head. After this he hears he got the wrong ninja, see the phone bit scene:

There will be fights, don't worry. Just not for the time being. Still aiming for 70 - 80 min. movie. After this weekend I'm hopefully past the 10 min. mark ninja.gif

Ninja vs Django

I couldnŽt sleep a couple of nights a go, so I got up and made a storyboard for a scene to be included in the film. It will be about an undead cowboy facing a ninja. There will be about 32 cuts, and it will be approximately 3 -4 minutes long.

I shot it around my appartment complex, and on-from my balcony.

Here are some of the props:

This is gonna be hilarious, with that stupid horse and other fake props cool.gif

By the way, tomorrow I'm heading to Istanbul with my father, who has acted in a short of mine. As common with ninja films, I will recycle that existing material and do some new scenes with him. He doesn't know it yet, but I'm sure I can persuade him. I'll have a ninja kill him, or something like that. Either way, there will be some Istanbul in the film, so that's nice. Haha, the cheapest ninja film ever shot in three or four different countries. Some Austrian mountains, some Turkish mosques... nice!

Thanks, Jack.

Was working on the film this week, as a matter of fact. I edited the Ninja vs Django bit. Just need to add sound fx. IŽll upload it soon.

Made it to IMDB, by the way:
