I went a 100 kilometres to my friend Henrik Larsen's place yesterday to pick up a big box of Turkish bootleg vhs tapes. Henrik is moving away and doesn't wanna bother with all them damn tapes so I'm getting them. wub.gif Will have to go back before he moves cos there were simply too many (ex-rentals too) to carry on the train in one go. There were a few non Turkish tapes as well and I watched one of them last night, TARZAK AGAINST THE LEOPARD MEN (Italy, 1964). Good fun!

Check the cover on Lars Jacobsson's blog:

Lucky bastard! What did you come away with?

Uh, actually I'm not quite sure yet as to what the "Turkish box" contains + half of the tapes are still at his flat. The one Turkish ex-rental I got (well, paid for! I got the boots for free) is this one:

THE BOY WHO KNEW TOO MUCH aka Little Eyewitness

A quite enjoyable and violent film that stars the lovely Filiz Akin and that annoying kid Ilker Inanoglu. cool.gif

My gawd! I discovered that one of the tapes containes UK's channel 4's English subtitled broadcast of Kara Murat: Fatihin Fermani (1973) aka Karamurat: The Sultan's Warrior. I've just watched it and it's just as good as Kara Murat seyh gaffar'a karsi (1976) wub.gif which I raved about here:
