Very little is known about this movies so I’m writing this topic (cross-posted with two other italian forums) hoping somebody could help with informations (maybe Suise Arabia or Sweeny Todd ?). None of this films is particularly good, production value are generally low, spfx poor, and tend to be boring in parts, but are so obscure that really got my attention.

The first title in this “series” is Tsu Hong Wu.

Tsu Hong Wu should be the first movie with the white monkey, the red haired Majin and the golden flying dragon.

Then we have its sequel, SEA GOD AND GHOSTS

Here looks like is credited to a HK company but maybe refers about distribution and not production

Summary

Note : 1977 is an estimated year. The miniature and monster footage used in the film was recycled from Tsu Hong Wu.

This summary is partially correct as footage from TSU HONG WU is used as a recap from the first movie, we have again the white monkey and the red haired Majin but also a new fight between the Golden Dragon and an evil green Dragon (inspired by Sanda Vs Gaira?)

The same bug eyed monster appears in THE SAVIOUR MONK along a "new" flying dragon

And, again, why there's a HK company in the credits?

And then China is credited too!

About TSU HONG WU, it seems to be a 1983 movie according to them.

I found this info here and I think you can also download it for free
http://www.voole.com/movie/3519

at least they show some poster art (or VHS art).

Here is FAIRY and The DEVIL: Fairy and the Devil

I guess you have the movies already but if it can help track down more info I found useful to post those links.

Hong Kong Film Archive gives Feb 18, 1971 as the release date of Tsu Hong Wu.

And, there is a sequel to Tsu Hong Wu:

A Story of "Lou Bo-Wen"
Released Dec 31, 1971
Directed by Namio Yuasa (as Tang Mu-hua)

Yuasa is a Japanese exploitation film director of the 1960s. He went to Taiwan in 1966 and directed at least sixteen films under his own name and two pseudonyms. His Taiwanese films include Young Flying Hero.

PS - This sread was mentioned in the Die, Danger, Die, Die, Kill! blog.
