Robowar... what to say about this Bruno Mattei classic, that is often referred to a Predator and Robocop rip off. Well from it being one and having the worst music ever to be made I would have to say that the movie is one of my favorite Mattei films. With each character having funny nicknames and the script being ultimately cheesy this is one Bruno Mattei that you can not miss.

The plot of the movie is that a group of soldiers called "B.A.M." aka Big A** M***er F***ers go to an island to to some exterminating and find that they are fighting a robot programed to kill and to be indestructible! A must hav for any Bruno Mattei fan. :D

Watching this one tonight!
Bruno Mattei lives!

OK, I watched it and I was slightly disappointed. Not nearly as crazed/cheesy/inept as I was hoping. Oh well, it was still fairly entertaining.
The most interesting thing to me was the presence of Filipino actor Max Laurel - none other than ZUMA himself! Amazing!

Jared, where can I get ZUMA??? And didn't you mention a sequel once? Where that be???

Sorry but I am going to disagree, Al Festa's score kicks ass! And the film itself is an absolute masterpiece.

I am with lt79, the music was cool. Your typical Mattei cheese!

It is one of those movies that has music that is so bad that it grows on you!! I can't wait to see Double Target and Strike Commando! Speaking of Double Target and Strike Commando does anyone have a front and back cover scan? B) :P

Yeah, I'll freely admit that sometimes when I'm cleaning; I'll play the movie in the background so I can listen to the music.

Yeah, I really... I mean r-e-a-l-l-y... don't understand why these films aren't being released on DVD when so much shit comes out on budget DVD all the time.

Did you see who uploaded it?

It's John Dulaney who was IN the movie! There's lots of cool stuff on his channel. There's home videos he made with Mike Montey and Richard Harrison. There one home video he made with Richard Harrison with Harrison in the nude.

Love the 'Guys don't hurt the lizard' part!

Roboman is truly one of the best movies ever made. The screewriter was a pure genius.

I love, and constantly view with a big smile on my face, the reuse of that Filippino waterfall in pretty much all of those 'Pino shot Bruno Mattei movies. Robowar is a classic example with Reb Brown leaping off it as the Robo Warrior is about to meet the mechanoid deity in android heaven !.
