I thought itīd be a cool idea to put some video tapes, unreleased rare movies, on factory pressed dvd. Limited edition, 100 pcs or so, nice artwork etc.
These wouldnīt interfer with any other releases, as they're not out there on dvd. Because of strict regulations itīs impossible to find a dvd manufacturer in Holland who wants to do that (even though I do find Dutch dvd's sourced from vhs occasionally).
So basically Iīm looking for a reliable dvd manufacturer that is willing to release films that are in the public domain, according to American law. Iīm thinking PAL releases, as the tapes are in PAL as well, so there wonīt be any conversion (problems).
If anyone knows such a manufacturer, preferably somehwere in the EU, please let me know in this topic or via PM.
