They're hard to find on official release. A French company called K-Films did release a few some years back. No English subs, so far as I recall. You can find some JB films if you search the distant corners of the internet. I prefer his earlier, pre-porn films. Frustration (but make sure it's the complete version), Le Desirable et le Sublime, Sexus, Cover Girls etc. Black Love, although the only version available seems to be dubbed into German, is a definite favorite and probably one of his best.

I'm also looking for Benazeraf films and have done so a long while. Scherzo in France seem to have released a series of his films but I've only managed to find three of them. Have scans of many of the other covers but I've never come across them. I'm specially interested in his 70's films. I believe all titles Pete mention is released on DVD in France, except Black Love, which is released on the video lable Toppic in Germany.
If anybody is sitting on the Scherzo series and are willing to either part with them or to make a DVD-R copy I would be very greatful.
Titles I'm especially looking for are:
- Racism (1972) * Is this BlackLove??
- French Love (1972)
- Orgie et bacchanale (1973)
- Bacchanales 73 (1973)
- Le sexe nu (1973)
- L'homme qui voulait violer le monde (1974)
- Le bordel, 1čre époque; 1900 (1974) * Have a copy of the italian xxx version with xxx iserts from Through The Looking glass
- Les lesbiennes (1975)
- Les incestueuses (1975)
- La planque 1 (1975) **
- La planque 2 (1975) **
- Voir Malte et mourir (1976)
- Vices cachés de Miss Aubépine (1977)
** Have a title called Perverse Isabelle which I believe is one of these two. I know one of them are released in Spain as I once missed it on eBay :/
I can post the covers I have later.

A company called LCJ appear to have licensed some films off JB. Frustration and Brantome 81 are out now. Not seen these actual releases and their website says: 4:3, so it appears that they might just be taken off old master tapes. The film titled Racism is not the same as Black Love but L'homme qui voulait violer le monde (1974) is. I highly recommend this film. Not quite sure why. But it seems to me to have all the best traits of JB - the sex, the politics, the crazy, artsy film making and that kind of ironic touch that seems to color his world view.
I believe the Scherzo series was announced, but only a few titles were released (on VHS)

Thanks both of you for your replies...
I have the french dvd k films..., but i was interested in some of his seventies work and in his first movies, even thouhg those that he produced in early sixties..., i have watched some of his porn films in eighties and find them diasppointing, mostly badly edited and shot...
I will check those released you talked about...
thanks...
