Crazy horror/fantasy comedy thriller from Wong Ying, famous for it's "egg scene"...lots of fun to be had!

I already knew there were several (3?) HK/mainland vcd releases of this one but recently discovered this mainland dvd:

I actually added that pic to dvdaf, there was no entry.

This was what I call a "plastic bag edition" which only contained a slipcover (!) and the disc itself.
The only possible label info on the slipcase is "yong xin zhu jiu pin zhi" (or does this mean something else?),printed on the disc itself I found the Zoke Culture logo though.
Watching the disc,I first got a Zoke Culture Logo, then a typical red vcd style copyright warning and then a Media Asia logo and then a Universe logo (?!) before getting in the menu.
Seems there's only one audio option,I think it's Mandarin (I'm no expert) since this is a mainland dvd and it says 5.1 remix (?!).
There's decent (for Chinese standards) removable English subs present as well (not mentioned on the slipcase).
After the movie ended I got this "© 1993 STAR TV Filmed Entertainment".
Picture quality is good considering it's an older master (this looks like it's oop, more later) and should be an upgrade for the vcd editions I guess.
It's letterboxed.

Of course I watched this upscaled (and zoomed in which would then deteriorate the quality a tiny bit) and I don't watch vcd's upscaled (would this help btw?).

I found a listing for the dvd here (actually listed under the wrong title!) which says "unable to order this commodity temporarily":
http://www.rich8.com/8/shop/splistnr.php?w...tID=241&PID=241

And...someone seems to have uploaded the complete dvd (with Chinese subs) on youku!
http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMzQwNzIyMzUy.html

So you can check quality and audio there! ;)

that company is called Zoke, a legit company here in China.
There are a lot of HK movies (old) released in that format (usually with only mandarin dub but with eng subs)
