Yesterday I put a couple of RAMBU vhs covers on my blog and thought it would be fun to eventually collect cover scans of all releases but obviously that takes time so I thought why not make a thread about it. B)

So if you have any covers, and I mean ANY covers, not just video tapes but also VCDs and bootlegs, then go ahead put them here and let us see 'em! :D

There's also two other releases, but this is the coolest (and rarest) one. Columbus / Hollywood Home Video also had other asian trash titles, IFD ninjas and Mats Helge's EAGLE ISLAND (I hear the cheezy hair metal theme song in my head as soon as I write the title... "Eagle Island... your my destiny..."). Real cool label.

I wont pay you shit!" RAMBU: "Pay her! I said pay her! Or i'll beat you car, punk." followed by lots of crazy ballthrowing action & explosions. "Ask around pal... the name is RAMBU!". CLASSIC. As for the rest of the movie, it's great fun but I kinda prefer the somewhat tighter THE STABILIZER & THE FINAL SCORE when it comes to Arizal/Punjabi bros C-action.

A Very rare Rambu release and overall a very rare Japanese VHS, have only ever seen this exact copy one time for sale. Never seen it again since. Id assume its in english and fullscreen- maybe widescreen, but those front cover shots look quite squashy...Either way, if anyone ever finds this tape expect to pay an arm and a leg for it! its insanely rare! Id say its not as rare as devils wedding night, but its up there!!!!

Hi, I just checked it, it's actually better letterboxed than the Greek with a sharp picture...A very nice tape (but unfortunately in french).

Hey Jack, it is letterboxed and runs about 1:21:51 incl. full end-credits!
Not sure if it is uncut, I've never seen another version so far... ;)

I have this Swedish tape on ebay but if someone wants it I can sell it straight as long as hasn't any bids on...

Really?? VERY interesting as (I believe) the only other release of the film is the Greek tape. Now we just need someone to find it! :blink:

I'm sorry to say this as I reeeally would have liked that release to exist, but... i'm almost 100% sure you have gotten it wrong. Maybe there's another release with similiar cover art, but if there was a swedish SNAKE QUEEN I think I would have known about it by now. Also, Nm. International is a selltape company which a very commonly found at fleamarkets in Sweden, I think almost all of their releases are mapped out by now. And i've never heard any rumors of such a release either...

There was a seller on ebay about 2 years ago who had a ton of those yellow sleeved tapes (another film on that label is a rare Indonesian Tarzan girl film, the title escapes me now) and I could swear he had a copy of The snake Queen. I could be wrong, I have a stoners memory, but Im pretty sure I saw it!

Here's a UK release of Rambu that I bought a couple years ago. I think it has a nice illo, but the movie itself is far from uncut. In fact, I'm surprised that it's listed as '18' on the box, since seemingly all the best bits were cut out.

I have the third swedish VHS release of Intruder. Its also from N.M International but is on a double tape with Operation Cobra. I can take a picture an post here, I just have to learn how. My copy of Pembalasan Rambu have arrived so I can also take a picture of that.
