I am pretty sure that I have it somewhere in the house. I will have a look and let you know.

Found it. The one I have is only a Dvd-R but is dubbed in English. I haven't actually watched it yet, but will try and check it out soon. It starts with a bunch of women near a river getting beat up and put in cages and dunked in the water.

coming - hopefully soon - on German DVD - with English Audio included.
here's the wonderful Trailer:

and here a few preview Screenshots: YES, that IS the first IFD Film in newly mastered 2.35 (16:9) :D

edit: added new Screenshots

not yet, but not forgotten.

the DVD is finally done and just awaits a Release Date :)

includes:

German 35mm Print (2.35 anamorphic) with a few Inserts from German VHS (also Widescreen, not more than a Minute of inserts all together) for damaged footage. (also, the IFD Master delivered was in Fullscreen and horribly framecut, being 4 Minutes shorter than the uncut Print!)

German & English Audio

English Trailer

Added: Bonus Feature Movie: COMMANDO FURY (from Japanese 2.35 VHS Source, as the Master delivered by Mr. Lai was in unwatchable Fullscreen!).

the Plan was to release both as Single Movie Releases, but all the Wait for a better Master Tape for FURY was in Vain so there we go....

Here's the english-dubbed release on Madera Cinevideo

wow! cant wait to get the dvd! what is the german dvd title?

Member-X - February 26, 2013 02:42 PM (GMT)
Was the 4Bidden Asia release uncut, I remember some release of another chick movie that looked cut.

spannick - February 26, 2013 03:59 PM (GMT)
German DVD title is not cleared yet, but i guess they'll go for TERROR IM FRAUENLAGER (best Title to market).

all Versions of the Movie are uncut (the German Print was uncut most likely too when it was struck) to my knowledge. i used the Dutch VHS for the Audio (couldn't use the IFD Master Tape Audio...)

Great news. Really looking forward to more great and rare asian exploitation with good quality.

Are there any other mail order companies that have this up for pre-order. I don't particularly like DTM....

spannick - June 2, 2013 05:02 PM (GMT)
no idea who else ships this. amazon won't as they are indexed.

Jack J - June 2, 2013 06:32 PM (GMT)
Very cool!!

Can you tell us a little about Commando Fury? Did you work on this as well? What print was used? uncut? Ratio?

Thanks for the update, Spannick!

spannick - June 2, 2013 07:03 PM (GMT)
i mentioned a bit about COMMANDO FURY in this thread, it's from the Japs VHS, as IFD Idiot only delivered pure bullshit (fullscreen, massive framecut etc)

reframed and properly PAL converted of course, subs are masked off as they were in the blak bars anyway.

Jack J - June 2, 2013 07:28 PM (GMT)
Oh yeah, so you did. "oops!:

Thanks, mate.

I just tried to order the dvd from DMT and it keeps getting me this message:

"Zahlungsfehler! FINGERPRINT is invalid"

spannick - June 4, 2013 09:31 PM (GMT)
he said you can order directly from him here:

I received my copy today! :D This is the version I bought and I think it's the coolest cover of the lot. Almost a replica of the old German vhs:

I've just watched the new dvd and what can I say other than it was a joy finally to be able to watch the film in its original aspect ratio! The dvdr I had was terrible fullscreen. I watched the dvd in German because of the different soundtrack that Spannick talked about, and sure enough it's pretty cool!! Much cooler than the music score in the English dub.

One other thing I noticed with the German dub is they did what they so often did in Germany in the old days: They added voiceover that didn't exist in the English dub!! Some stuff about the hero's brother saying to him (twice), "Don't let anybody know who you are, stay secret". And some more explanatory dialogue along the lines of, "Hmm, I wonder who the kingpin is? How can we catch him!?" whereas there's just silence in the English dub.

The few inserts from vhs worked really well because the aspect ratio is the same. I wonder why those bits were even cut out to begin with? Apart from one scene (a girl getting killed by a snake) the scenes aren't violent but just scenes of dialogue. :o

Damage on 35mm Prints happens, sad fact :( that's why it was missing.

Jack J - June 18, 2013 11:40 AM (GMT)
Oh, I see. Too bad. Thanks, mate.

bruceholecheck - August 27, 2013 03:02 AM (GMT)
Did the non-Hardbox version ever come out? I checked with Diabolik, but they said their German contacts didn't have it.

Jack J - August 27, 2013 01:30 PM (GMT)
Sorry, I don't know. You could try and email the guy behind the label. Address in one of Spannick's posts a few posts up. He's nice enough, I ordered my copy directly from him.

spannick - September 4, 2013 03:09 PM (GMT)
there's a non-hardbox Cover out. i have it myself. Keepcase with reservible Cover Art. "FRAUENLAGER-DOUBLE FEATURE"
