At Lainey, Kelly, and Robin’s place, Lainey and Sonny are at the door.
Sonny smiles “Thank you for a wonderful evening.”
Lainey smiles “Same here. An unexpected one, but a wonderful one.”
Sonny grins “See you tomorrow?” he flashes his dimples
Lainey laughs and pulls him close “You something else, you know that?”
“I’ve been told that a few times” Sonny smiles
Lainey kisses hims and Sonny kisses her back and he leaves. While he’s leaving, Kelly and Kris walk in the door, seeing Lainey all happy.
“Okay, was it me, or was it supposed to be Robin who had the apartment tonight?” Kelly asks
“She and Patrick went to his place.” Lainey explains
Kris gets a little jealous “So, you and Sonny are getting close?”
Lainey’s smile slightly decreases “Well, we only went on a few dates. We really enjoy each other’s company-“
Kelly laughs “Did you two, sleep with each other?”
“No, we just kissed. I would like to get to know him before I go that far, okay?”
“Just asking. So how good of a kisser is he?” Kelly asks
“Amazing. So much passion, man, if only every guy could kiss like that.” Lainey laughs
Kris gets upset “I’m going to bed.” She walks in her room
“I’ll be right back.” Kelly follows Kris to her room “What is your problem?”
“Like you don’t know? You’re making her rub it in my face the fact she’s found someone and I’m still alone. The one person in a long time that I feel a strong connection with, is ruined, once again because of you.” Kris get even more angry
“I didn’t ruin that relationship of yours. You did it all by yourself.” Kelly says
“Oh please, you gave her that boost to leave me when she was gonna take me back. You had to tell her things about me. Oh she’s a partier, she’s unfaithful, she doesn’t deserve you. She ate you words up and left me for good, and now you’re doing it again. I’m not gonna let you do this again.” Kris says

The next day, at General Hospital, Lainey is stading behind the Nurse’s Station and Kelly comes over to her.
“So how’s your morning been so far?” Kelly asks
“Great. Hey what’s wrong with Kris? She seemed upset lastnight.” Lainey asks
Kelly starts feeling bad “Okay, you promise you won’t get mad at her?”
Lainey gets curious “I promise.”
Kelly takes a deep breath “Okay, Kris told me about that night between you two. She’s jealous because you’re with Sonny and she thinks its my fault.”
“Wait, she told you?” Lainey says
“You promised you wouldn’t get mad.” Kelly says “Kris has this idea that, you were into the kiss just as much she was.” Kelly says and Lainey doesn’t say anything “You mean, you mean she was right? You like Kris?”
Lainey sighs “She a cool friend.”
“But you like her more than that, even if its just a little bit.” Kelly says
“I have to get back to work.” Lainey tell her
“Lainey, your secret is safe with me.” Kelly says
“Yeah right.” Lainey leave

At Kelly’s, Kris is having lunch and Lainey walks in. Lainey walks over to Kris’ table.
“How could you?” Lainey asks
Kris gets confused “What the hell did I do?”
“You told Kelly about that night?” Lainey gets upset
Kris sighs “Look, she got it out of me. I’m sorry.”
“Sorry? My roommate is gonna start looking at me like I’m some weirdo because, because-“ Lainey gets cut off
“Because she thinks you’re bi-sexual.” Kris gets upset
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it like that. I’ve never kissed a another woman or anything like that before. Well, except this one time. I thought it was just a phase. Nevermind.” Lainey begins to leave
Kris hold Lainey by the hand “No, don’t go. I want to know the story.”
Lainey looks at Kris and sits back down “Okay. It was this one time in college. Her name was Crystal Venningston. She was very beautiful and very talented. We used to hang out all the time. One night, we went out for drinks, like we normally did. We came back to her dorm and we ended up making out. Just like you and me. She and I had passion and everything. She wanted to take it further.”
“But you got afraid and held back” Kris responds
“How’d you know?” Lainey asks
“Because you’re doing the same exact thing with me. Look, I’m not saying be with me forever, but if you feel something, like we could be something more, then just go for it.” Kris tells Lainey
“It’s not that simple. I would mind spending time with you, but I’ve found someone. I found Sonny. I’m not saying I love him, because I don’t, but I just want to get to know him because he makes me happy.” Lainey explains
“I make you happy.” Kris says
“No, you make me confused. I have to go.” Lainey leaves

Okay a whole week without Lainey. This really sucks. I need a fanfic moment. SJL? :D

Later that night at Sonny’s place, Lainey and Sonny are on the couch having wine. Sonny seems to be enjoying himself, but Lainey seems to be disctracted by something.
“Lainey, you okay?” Sonny asks
Lainey sighs “No, I’m fine. Just been thinking.”
“What’s wrong? Is everything okay?” Sonny get curious
“Yeah. No, no not really. But I’m just not sure if I can tell you.” Lainey explains
Sonny gets worried “Okay. I’ll be your doctor and you be my patient. Now, relax, and tell me what been bothering you?”
Lainey laughs “Are you serious? You’re really gonna try to be my therapist tonight?”
Sonny smiles “Hey, I’m just trying to help. Now really, what’s wrong?”
Lainey sighs “Okay. You remember our first date a few nights ago?”
Sonny nods.
“Well, something happened. You know, Kris, Dr. Lee’s sister?” Lainey asks
“Yeah. Nice girl.” Sonny responds
“Well, she’s a lesbian, and has this crush on me. That night, when I got home, we ended up, making out on the couch all night.” Lainey explains and Sonny is shocked mixed with confusion
“Wait, are you-“ Sonny begins to ask
“Can we not speak about that? I just thought you needed to know.” Lainey says
“So, do you have feelings for Kris? Or was it just a one time thing?” Sonny ask
“That’s that part that I’m confused on. She an amazing person, but I’m not sure if I want to take it further or not. I like you both, I’m not sure on what I want.” Lainey explains
Sonny smiles “Well, I’m gonna try my hardest, to win your heart.” Sonny kisses Lainey on the couch

The next afternoon, at Robin, Lainey, and Kelly’s place, Kris is on the couch reading and there’s a knock on the door. Kris get up and goes over and opens the door, and Sonny is standing by the door.
Kris sighs “Lainey is here.”
“I know. I came to talk to you.” Sonny says and walks in.
Kris sarcastically says “Come on in” she closes the door “What do you want?”
“I want you to leave Lainey alone.” Sonny demands
“What are you talking about?” Kris asks
“Look, you wanting Lainey, she not going for it. I say just give up.” Sonny says
Kris laughs “Lainey actually told you what happened? The girl’s got guts.”
“See if you knew Lainey in anyway, you would already know that she’s a strong woman who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Believe me, I know. Now, leave Lainey alone.” Sonny says
“Why should I? Why do you even care?” Kris asks
“Because I actually like Lainey-“ Sonny gets cut off
“And I don’t? Look why don’t you go steal a car or something. Or how about knocking someone off your hit list. You need to do something with your spare time.” Kris gets upset
“You making it a tad bit difficult for me to show Lainey that I really care about her. Now I have so-called competition?”
“What’s wrong? I heard you like a good challenge with women?” Kris says
“Believe me I enjoy the occasional challenge, but you’re making it harder” Sonny tells Kris.
Kris walks up to Sonny and kisses him. “How hard is it now, big boy?” she
Sonny smiles “I see why Lainey likes you. You go for what you want. But I’m not stupid. You’re trying to distract me from Lainey. Now you need to think, what do you think Lainey would say if I told her what happened?”
“You wouldn’t? I’m not stupid. How would you think she’ll believe you?” Kris asks
“Keep testing me, and see what happens” Sonny leaves
