A Romance Cure For The Doc, Lainey's Find For Love

At General Hospital, in Lainey Winters' office, Lainey and Sonny Conrinthos are sitting and talking. Sonny is there for an update on his condition. "So how are you feeling Lainey says professionally"
Sonny feeling relaxed and responds "Alot better. I even actually feeling more comfortable here."
"Well I want you to feel more comfortable here. You know that at anytime you feel any from of discomfort, just let me know, Sonny" Lainey responds
Sonny smiles "I lost discomfort here for awhile now"
Lainey smiles back "Well that's good. You're not having mood swings, which is good"
Sonny starts feeling nervous "I-I had a dream the other night"
Sonny response peaks Lainey's curiousity "About what Sonny?"
Sonny clears his throat "Brenda, Brenda Barret"
Lainey slowly get even more curious "The one from Paris right? I realize you've mentioned her before. In this dream of yours, what happened, if you don't mind me asking?"
Sonny takes a deep breath "Well, we were at my old place. We're having wine and I'm having a good but for some reason, it seemed like she wasn't. I leaned in to kiss her, but she turns away. She says we can no longer be. Since we can no longer have each other, you must find another who can handle and care for me. Someone who can live on their own and knows how to love. Someone who would listen and is strong enough so that they can't break. Who do you think she was talking about?"
Lainey responds "Well the question is, who do you think she was talking about?"
Sonny thinks for a bit "I don't know. It can't be Carly. I mean if it was, why tell me this now? I have no clue."
"Well think about it and hopefully the answer will naturally come to you" Lainey tells him
Sonny looks up at her "Lainey, I was wondering if you would like to go out to dinner, with me. Or I can make you a meal at my place. Just my way of thanking for what you've done"
Lainey stay professional "As good as that sounds, I want to keep this professional between a doctor and their clients. I don't let my job and personal life collide. Im gonna have to pass."
Sonny smiles and slowly flashes his dimples "Oh come on, its just dinner. What's the worst that could happen? you've been kind and understanding. I just want to thank you"
Lainey smiles back "Its my job. I already have plans so"
Sonny laughs "I understand. Well Im gonna head out. My offer still stands Lainey"
Later on that night, at Lainey, Robin, and Kelly's place, Robin is in the livingroom sitting on the couch eating tuna out of a can and Lainey sits down beside her, looking disappointed.
Robin looks over at her "Okay, what's wrong? You've been looking rather upset lately these days"
"I turned down a dinner offer from this hot guy"
Robin sits up "What, why?"
"Well one, he's a patient. And two, his career choice isn't exactly what I'm looking for in someone"
Robin gets excited "Come on tell me, who is it?"
Lainey sits up "You reall want to know? It's Sonny Corinthos"
Robin's excitement begins to fade "Oh. Well everyone knows that Sonny supposedly has that effect on women. He has charm, mysterious and can cook, but when it comes to his business, trouble aproaches and you the number one target"
"Why can't I find someone who doesn't have much baggage? I want excitement, romance, and love, but someone who isn't dependent on me. I can't seem to find it" Lainey complains
Robin gives adivce "Stop looking. Let it come to you."
Lainey looks at her watch "Where's Kelly?"
Robin continues to eat her tuna "She's working late. You know her sibling is supposed to be coming tomorrow right?"
Lainey smiles "Yeah. Kristopher with a K, sounds interesting." They both burst out into laughter "So what has Kelly said about this Kristopher?"
Robin puts down her tuna "Well, she said that he can have a good time, always have charm with the ladies and is an architect"
"So do you think he'd be interested in me?" Lainey curiously asks
Robin laughs "What did I say about it finding you?"
Lainey sighs "I don't want anything serous with Kis. I'm really curious about him. I just want to see if I can get a simple date with a great guy"
The next day, at General Hospital, Robin Kelly, and Elizabeth are the Nurse's Station.
"I'm beat. A lady yesterday was in labor for thirteen hours" Kelly says
"Wow, you going home to rest anytime soon?"
"No I have appointments"
"So when is Kristopher going to get here?" Elizabeth curiously asks
"I pick Kris up later on today from the airport" Kelly answers "I gotta go. I see you guys later." Kelly walks off
"Have you seen Kristopher before?" Elizabeth asks
"Nope. Kelly doesn't have many pictures of family or anything. Atleast, not anything recent"
A beautiful fit female asian, with dark long hair, wearing nice jeans and a nice shirt, steps off the elevator and walks over to the Nurse's Station
The asian girl asks "Does a Kelly Lee work here?"
"Yes ma'am. I'll go get her for you" Robin repsonds
"Thank you. I'm her sister Kristopher" the girl tell Robin and she's shocked and looks over at Elizabeth and then back over to the girl "You see I want to surprise her. She doesn't know I'm here yet"
Robin smiles "That's great. I'm one of her roommates Robin Scorpio and this is our friend Elizabeth"
"Oh you're Robin and Elizabeth. Nice to finally meet you. Kelly told me things about you"
"Um, nothing too bad I hope" Elizabeth jokes and Kristopher laughs
"No, just that you're wonderful people." Kristopher responds. Lainey walks over to the Nurse's Station and Robin walks over to her
"Oh my god youi're not gonna believe this. Look over at the counter" Robin insists and Lainey looks over
"What?" Lainey asks "There's just a woman over there"
"Not just any woman. That's Kris. Robin tries to convince
Lainey laughs "There's no way you can get me that the hot guy that Kelly described is her"
Kelly walks back over to the Nurse's Station and sees the woman and smiles "Kristopher?"
Kristopher laughs "Kelly?"
Kelly runs over to Kristopher and hugs her.
Lainey looks confused" Okay, I'm convinced." Elizabeth walks over
"Okay, did Kristopher get a sex change?" Elizabeth asks and being just as confused at Robin and Lainey
"My sister is grown up" Kelly says
"We were the ones that gave her a sex change, in own minds. We all beleive that she was a he" Robin responds
"Hey guys come over here" Kelly shouts over. Elizabeth, Robin and Lainey walks over "I would like for you all to meet Kristopher"
"You can just call me Kris" Kristopher insits
"Okay Kris" Robin says
"Kris, this Robin and Elizabeth" Kelly introduces
"We already met not too long ago" Kristopher tells Kelly
"Okay, well you'll meet Emily later at Jakes and this is well this is Lainey Winters. She's one of my roommates" Lainey and Kristopher shake hands
"Nice to meet you Kris" Lainey responds
"Pleasure is all mine. I must say, you look alot more beautiful in person" Kristopher smiles
Robin leans in and whispers to Elizabeth "You know, atleast Kelly wasn't lying about having great charm with women. That right there was good"

Wow What a great story. And that would make a perfect scene on GH. Great Job. Can I hope for more. ;)

In the locker room, at General Hospital, Emily, Elizabeth and Robin are all changing.
Emily laughs "Are you serious? Kristopher is really a woman?"
"No joke. I for one was shocked" Robin responds and laughs
"And what's funny, she even hit on Lainey" Elizabeth jokes
"I can't believe I missed that. I can't wait to meet her" Emily responds
"You know, Lainey has been wanting to have a guy in her life for a while now. She was kinda hoping that maybe Kris would be it" Robin explains.
Lainey walks over to her locker and the others start laughing.
"What's so funny?" Lainey curiously asks
"Nothing we were all just laughing at the fact on how we imagined Kris and wasn't anything we expected" Elizabeth tells
"I know. Nothing that I expected" Lainey says with the sound of disappointment in her voice
"Oh come on Lainey, we were all expecting something else. Kelly should have given us more detail about Kris"
"Its easy for you all to say that because you all have someone" Lainey explains herself
"Correction, had someone. Remember, Sonny and I are no more" Emily protests
"Well I haven't really had anyone in awhile, especially since Justus was killed. I want someone. I want someone I can find a space in my heart to put them there. I'm hoping to find it in someone soon" Lainey explains

That night, at the bar Jakes, Robin, Kelly, Kristopher, Elizabeth, Emily, and Lainey are at the bar counter drinking. Everyone's having a great time except Lainey, who's looking at her tequila shot on the counter daydreaming.
"Alright Kris, we have a thing we say when we take are tequila shots" Kelly explains "And Elizabeth will do the honors on telling you" Elizabeth laughs
"Alright, you have to shout it out, okay. Lick it, slam it, suck it! Do it girl!" Elizabeth says and she, Emily, Robin, and Kelly cheer Kris on
Kris laughs "Alright. Lick it, slam it, suck it!" and she drink her shot and they all laugh
"How old are you? You seem pretty young" Robin asks
"Twenty-five actually" Kris responds"
Elizabeth asks Kris "So how did you get the name Kristopher with a K?"
Kris smiles "Well, Kelly and I parents wanted a boy, unfortunately they got another girl, me. Well when it came to naming me, they decided to name me after my father, Christopher. They wanted to change it up a little so they put a K instead of a Ch in the front of it, mainely because my mother's name is Kristina, with a K"
So what is it that you do for a living?" Emily curiously asks
Kris responds "Um, I an architect. I desighn and build houses in California"
"That's good. I see you nice an fit. Do you ever get hurt doing the job?" Emily asks again
"Minor injuries, nothing too serious. Being in shape does help. Its pratically my work out" Kris responds. She looks over to Lainey and smiles and turns to her sister, Kelly "What's wrong with your friend down the counter, Lainey?"
Kelly looks over at Lainey and looks back at Kris "Nothing, she just had a bad few days"
Kris smiles "Maybe I can talk to her"
Kelly laughs "Kris don't-" Kris gets up and walks over to Lainey and waks over behind her
Kris leans in and whisper in her ear "You okay?"
Lainey snaps out of her daydream "I'm sorry, you said something?"
Kris smiles and responds "I was wondering if you were okay? Are you having a good time?"
Lainey takes her shot "Yeah. What makes you think I'm not?"
Kris walks from behind her and sits it in the chair beside her "Well you haven't smiled all night. From the pictures that Kelly sent me, I say you have a beautiful smile. ou shouldn't let it go it waste"
Lainey smiles but becomes uncomfortable "Thank you but, I'm fine"
Kris bites down on her bottom lip and smiles "Um, do you know any good resturants aorund here?"
Lainey takes another shot "Well, there's a place called the MetroCourt. Its more of a fancy type of resturant. There's also Kelly's which is a great place to eat and hangout"
"Well I was wondering it you would like to go to Kelly's with me tomorrow night?" Kris offers
Lainey is shocked about the offer "Well, I'm busy tomorrow night. Sorry"
"Then how about lunch then? Im trying to get to know all of Kelly's friends. Who knows, maybe I can brighten up your day. I'm told that I'm good at it" Kris insists. Lainey thinks for a moment
"Okay, I guess I can have lunch" Lainey agrees
Kris smiles "Okay, I meet you at your office around twelve?"
Lainey smiles "Okay"
"See, I put a smile on your face already" Kris laughs and Elizabeth calls Kris over "I'll be right back" she gets up and walks over to Liz
"Coleman, another tequila bottle because we're getting ready to celebrate" Liz tells Coleman
"Alright sweet cheeks" Coleman responds
Kris gets curious "What are we celebrating?"
"Well, we see that you can have a good time. We would like to recruite you to become the newest member of our Girls' Night Out Club" Liz explains
Kris laughs "Thanks guys. I appreciate it"
Coleman walks over with a tequila bottle and gives it to Kris
"So what are you gonna do with the bottle Kris?" Kelly asks
Kris laughs "Um, Im gonna, lick it, slam it, suck it!" everyone laughs. Kris opens the bottle and starts drinking from the bottle "Man, I'm gonna start having flashbacks of the wonder Frat parties I went to" everyone laugh
Coleman cheers her on "Damn girl, here's my number" He tries to giver her his card but Robin take it away and rips it up
Robin laughs "You not getting a chance with this girl sweetheart"
"Again thank you. I appreciate this" she looks over at Lainey and she's laughing as well, so she goes over to sits beside her
Lainey smiles "Congradulations" she laughs
"I'm glad to see you smile and laugh. I did the bottle thing for you" Kris says
"For me? What do you mean?" Lainey gets curious
"Well, i figured that it would make you laugh and smile. See I told you that I can brighten up you day, even if it's a little bit" Kris explains
Lainey smiles "Well thank you, I appreciate it. I need the laugh"
"If you think you had fun tonight, wait til you have lunch with me tomorrow" Kris tells Lainey

The next day, at General Hospital, Epiphany is at the Nurse's Station and Lainey walks over, looking exuaghsted.
"Rough night?" Epiphany suggest
"Same as every other night, I slept alone" Lainey tells Epiphany
Epiphany explains "Sleeping alone is always a bad thing. Maybe because I'm used to it by now, but love will come find you someday" she leaves and Kelly walks over
Kelly laughs "What you and Epiphany chatting about?"
"Nothing really" Lainey says
"You know, I really appreciate you showing my sister around this afternoon. I means alot" Kelly tells Lainey
Lainey smiles "No problem" Kris gets off the elevator
Kelly sees Kris "Hey here she comes" Kris walks over "Hey Kris"
Kris smiles "Everything's good" she looks over at Lainey "Ready?"
Lainey looks up at her "Um, yeah. Just give me minute"
Kris grins "No problem" Lainey walks away
Kelly looks at her watch "I'll see yall later alright" she leaves
Patrick walks over behind Kris "Excuse me ma'am, are you lost?"
Kris turns around and smiles "No actually, I'm waiting for someone"
Patrick smiles "Who's the lucky guy?"
Lainey over to them "I'm ready. Hi Patrick"
Patrick looks confused for a second and smiles "Lainey, may I speak with you for a second?"
"Um, sure" Lainey is curious on what Patrick wants
"I'll just wait in the waiting area" Kris says and wlks over to the waiting area and Patrick stares at her while she walks away
"Hello, you okay?" Lainey asks
Patrick smiles and looks at Lainey "Well, I see why you turned me times before"
"What are you talking about?" Lainey asks
Patrick smirks "You're going on a date with her right?'
"That's Kris, Kelly's sister. I'm supposed to be showing around town and have lunch with her. I'm doing a favor for a friend" Lainey explains
Patrick grins "Too bad, I would have liked to join in" he walks away

Later that day, at Kelly's, Lainey and Kris are having lunch. Kris is smiling while Lainey is eating. Lainey looks up at Kris.
Lainey asks "What?"
Kris laughs "Nothing, you're just beautiful, that's all"
Lainey feels a little uncomfortable "Um, thank you. You look nice as well"
Kris clears her throat "So, are there any other places in this town that you like?"
Lainey thinks "Well, ocassionally I would go to the park. I like going to Jakes. The Metro Court is a nice resturant"
Kris laughs "Have you ever gone roller blading?"
Lainey laughs "Roller blading? Um, once or twice but, not really"
Kris grins "Come on. I'll take you"
Lainey get nervous "Take me wear?"
Kris laughs "Roller blading. Come on. I have skates back at the apartment"
Lainey figits with her fingers "Um, I'm not sure"
Kris gets up and walks over beside Lainey and holds out her hand "Come on. Its fun and exciting. What do you have to lose?"
Lainey smiles and take Kris hand and get out of her chair "I hope I don't regret this"
Kris steps up close to Lainey "You won't"

At the Pizza Shack, Kris skates over to a table and turns around and laughs "Lainey come on" she says
Lainey skates over in a helment, knee pads, and elbow pads "I forgot how hard this was. You're really good"
Kris smiles "Skating on the mighty hills of San Fransisco can make you good" they both laugh
Lainey smiles "You were right, this was fun"
Kris laughs "See I told you that you'd have a good time" Lainey slips and falls into Kris and she catches her "You okay?"
Lainey smiles "Yeah. I'm fine" she gets off of Kris and sits down and Kris sits down beside her "So you want a slice of pizza?"
Kris smiles "You just ate"
"I'm hungry again" Lainey responds
Kris laughs "A woman who has a great appetite and can keep that wonderful figure? You're my new idol" they both laugh
Kris stands up "I'll get the pizza. I don't you to drop on your way back" she skates over to the counter and Lucas walks over to Lainey
"Dr. Winters?" Lucas asks
Lainey looks up "Hey Lucas. How's everything?"
"Fine, everything going better" Lucas smiles
Lainey responds "That's good"
Kris skates back over to Lainey "Pizza should be done in about ten minutes" she looks at Lucas "Hi"
Lainey stands up "Um, Kris this is Lucas" Kris and Lucas shakes hands
"I'm gonna go" Lucas leaves to another table where Guy is sitting
Kris smiles "Cute kid. Ex-boyfriend?" they both sit down
Lainey laughs "No, he's a patient of mine"
Kris grins "I'm really you came roller blading with me" Kris puts her hand on Lainey's hand
Lainey get nervous "Um, I'm gonna check on that pizza" she gets up
Kris get up "Don't worry I'll do it"
"No its okay-" Lainey slips and grabs onto Kris and they both fall and start laughing
Kris smiles "You okay?"
Lainey smiles back "Yeah, I'm fine"
Kris sits up "You know, Kelly told me that you were very shy. I don't see it. You are though very sweet and beautiful"
Lainey gets nervous again "Thank you"

At General Hospital, Robin is the Nurse's Station and there's a bouquet of flowers sitting there. Epiphany walks over.
"Those are for Lainey Winters" Epiphany tells Robin
Robin gets curious "Really, from who?"
"The Sonny Corinthos" Epiphany replies
"Sonny? Has Emily Quatermaine seen these flowers?" Robin asks
Epiphany responds "No, she hasn't"
Kris and Lainey gets off the elevator laughing and they walk over by Robin.
Robin get curious "Well I see you two had a fun lunch"
Lainey smiles "We went roller blading. Who would have thought it would be so much fun?"
Kris smiles "I told you it'd be so much fun"
Lainey glances at the flowers "So I see Patrick sent you some lovely flowers"
Robin looks at the flowers "Um, they're not from Patrick, and they're not for me. They're for you"
Lainey get curious "For me?" she looks at the card and sighs "Sonny Corinthos"
Epiphany looks over at the elevator "Heads up. Emily Quatermiane"
Robin looks "Hide the card"
Lainey hides the card in her pocket and Emily walks over to them
Emily smiles "Hey guys. What's up?"
Lainey turns around "Oh nothing"
Emily looks at the flowers "I see someone's gotten some flowers. Who's are they?"
Lainey looks at Robin "Um, they're mine"
Emily smiles "Really? From who?"
Lainey gets nervous "Um, well-"
Kris cuts Lainey off in the begining of her sentence "They're from me. I was just thanking Lainey for a great lunch"
"Oh that's nice" Emily replies "Well I got to go. See yall tonight"
Robin responds "Bye" Emily leaves "That was close"
Kris get confused "What's the big deal? Who's Sonny?"
Robin sighs "Um, Emily used to go out with Sonny. After they broke up, which led to heartbreak"
Kris understands "So now Sonny's trying to date you. Why won't you?"
"Well for one he's a patient, he says that he just wants to thank me for my help. Two, he's Emily's ex, just wouldn't feel right. Three, he doesn't exactly have the best reputation" Lainey explains
"Oh. Well, I'll see you al when you get home. I'm gonna see Kelly right quick and go" Kris says
Lainey smiles "Bye Kris" Kris leaves
"Man that was close" Robin says and turns and notices Lainey daydreaming "Lainey? Hello is anyone there?"
Lainey snaps out of it "What?"
Robin laughs "You okay?"
Lainey scratches her head "I don't know. I may be coming down with something. I'm gonna go home okay?"
"I sure hope you feel better" Robin says

At Robin, Kelly, and Lainey's place, Lainey walks in through the front door, seeing if Kris is there.
"Kris?" she looks around "Hello? Kris?" she turns around sees Kris in a towel "Oh. I'm so sorry"
"I'm sorry, I didn't think anyone would be home at this time" Kris is a little embarrassed
"Its okay. I just wasn't feeling well" Lainey gets nervous
Kris starts walking backwards "Um, I'll go change" she turns around and goes into the bathroom
Lainey lets out a big breath and sits on the couch. "Wow"

Lainey laughs some more "I'm feeling better. Who would have thought you're sister was a comedian?"
Kelly get confused "Not me"
Kris laughs "I'm not that funny. Lainey here is a really cool person"
Kelly walks over to them "Well, I'm lay down in my room" she walks in her room
Kris get serious "Is it hard, you know, being a shrink? Hearing people problems, and devastating stories everyday?"
Lainey gets serious as well "I've gotten used to it. I mean, it gets to me sometimes, but not really"
"I can tell already that you're a strong person" Kris compliments Lainey
Lainey smiles "Well, this strong one has had trouble finding the one. My last attenpt, was an attempt too late"
Kris gets interested "Care to explain?"
Lainey takes a deep breath "My last boyfriend, we weren't serious, but he was killed. He work for Sonny, the guy that sent me the flowers earlier. I never really got to go further with him"
Kris feels bad "I'm sorry. For your lost"
Lainey smiles "Its okay. What about you? What why are you single?"
Kris smiles "Well, when I got out of college, I was in a relationship with my girlfriend Debra. She felt that I needed to stop trying to relive our college days and try being serious about us. Next thing I knew, she moved out of our place, and it was over. Haven't found a great person like since then"
Lainey laughs "Its funny how relationships go wrong, even when you try to make it right"
Kris gets up "You want something to drink?"
Lainey smiles "No I'm fine" Kris walks into the kitchen and Kelly walks in from her bedroom
"I see you and Kris are getting along well" Kelly says
"Yeah. She's really nice, funny, and cool" Lainey responds
Kelly sits on the couch beside Lainey "You know, I should let you know, she likes you. She's been hitting on you the whole time. She's been spending time with you the most"
Lainey smiles "I think I noticed. I thought it was just me. She's just a cool person." Kris walks back in from the kitchen
Kris smiles "Hey Kel. I see that you're tired." Kelly stares at her and Kris looks behind and looks bac at Kelly "What?"
Kelly smirks "Nothing, but I would like to talk to you later" she gets up and goes back in her room
Kris smiles "What was that about?"
"Have no idea" Lainey replies. Kris sits beside Lainey on the couch. Lainey stares at Kris, while Kris is drinking her soda. Kris stops and looks at Lainey
Kris laughs "What? Why are you staring at me?"
Lainey blinks her eyes "Nothing, sorry." She looks away and Kris smiles
Kris gets up "Come on, let's go."
Lainey smiles "Go where?"
Kris laughs "I don't know. Let's just, go. You know?"
Lainey gets up "Ice cream"
Kris bites her bottom lip "Sure"

Later that night, at the park, Lainey and Kris are walking in the park eating ice cream. Lainey smiles.
Kris laughs "What are you thinking right now?"
Lainey looks at Kris "I'm thinking that I haven't had this much fun in a long time"
Kris smiles "That's good. I told you that I was capable of putting smiles on people's faces"
Lainey smiles back "Thank you. I appreciate it. I've been sitting around, not doing anything. I can always hang with my girlfriends."
Kris sits down on a bench and Lainey sits beside her "Man, I'm glad I came to visit." Kris says
"Yeah, we probably would have never met" Lainey responds
"Hey who knows, maybe it was fate that we met" Kris says. Lainey looks up at her and Kris leans in towards and Lainey stands up
"Its getting late. Maybe we should get back." Lainey says
Kris looks disapointed and stands up "Okay"
