The Official FMA Online Update Board, Questions are allowed

I'm making an online game of FMA! With a game making system called BYOND, Fullmetal Alchemist Online will be a MMORPG based around the world of Fullmetal! Using the splendid information given in fullmetalalchemist.info, the game will be great!. So at the moment, I am in search of Iconists and coders that can help me make this game possible!

I will post updates and screen shots here. Ask any Question.

Iconists? What are they?

I've done extensive things to my RPG at FFFansforever.com so I might be able to do something. The coding itself is not really something I can do though.

Plus, with the moving and painting, I can't guarantee any level of help from me. Sorry.

So what's this game gonna be like? I'm not familiar with BYOND at all, so I'm not sure what is possible with it.

I'm starting on the map for Central and the Alchemy Exam building.
Hopefully I can finish this project before the summer.

Maes Hughes: I've been testing around with making games for awhile, once I learn the basics, maybe I cound help out with the game design. Is this game going to have sprites representing the player , or a 3D model? If so maybe I could help out with the character design. I'm new to coding still .

I'm still confused about the "Iconists" bit. What's that about?

What's the current status of the game, by the way?

I was looking around the other games there and it seems like the FMA game would be very interesting.

So far the process isnt that great. I havent been working on it for a while.

I probaly might just make a Naruto Fighting game or something.

@Maes Hughes: Whatever you do, the concept of making an online anime video game is still cool. Even though I'm not a big fan of Naruto yet, I'd still probably play the online game of it, if you make it. A FullMetal-Alchemist Online RPG game is another interesting concept. It would be cool to make your own character with his or her own special abilities in alchemy. Doesn't Adult Swim have a FullMetal-Alchemist Online game ? I think they do, I wish I could remember the title . I remember playing it alittle and you could switch back and forth between Edward and Alphonse as you went from one side of the screen to the other... I think I'll stick to the FullMetal-Alchemist Playstation 2 games instead of Adult Swims version, though there is nothing wrong with it, it just doesn't seem as fun .

Yeah, Adultswim has Iron and Flame.

What I was aiming to make was a Massive Multiplayer online sort of game.
