Title: [Flawless] [Perfect]Theroc Ironfist
Description: The Hunter of War
Voltar™ - July 11, 2006 05:54 AM (GMT)
Name: Theroc Ironfist
Race: Boralis
The Boralis are an unknown race hailing from beyond the Unknown Regions. How one came to our Galaxy is unknown, and likely will never be fully known. They appear as normal humans, but are usually much larger and built more powerfully. These traits earned them the nickname “Giants” which holds as a stereotype today. They aren't much different from humans save a much more durable physiology, and heightened resistance to ailments such as disease and poision, though they generally do not possess any outstanding intelligence, as far as the higher mysteries go. Uneducated, yet intelligent.
Gender: Male
Age: 47
Homeworld: Nar Shadaa
Class: Vegetable (See the end of the history for further info) [Was usually a melee expert Soldier]
Force Sensitive:Yes, but no. (Explained later)
Description: Standing at an immense 7’0, Theroc towers over most men, or beings of any race, for that matter. His build is rippling with muscle, but not so much that his appearance suffers from bowleggedness, or other maladies of those who focus purely on strength. His dull yellow eyes bore into anyone, sizing them up as any soldier would an enemy trooper. He bears a long scar along his left eye, a memento from a particularly fun fight.
His stance shows one who knows much of battle, and much of surviving them. He is built for stamina and power, and it shows. His presence can intimidate as well as an angry Wookie, as his appearance is much more unpredictable, and potentially malicious.
Personality: Theroc, to many, is a raving lunatic. He absolutely LOVES to fight, in fact, he needs little reason to do so. Not because he is malicious, or because he is easily angered... but because he feels it is fun. Killing is not part of his intent, though it is often a result. Pain, dismemberment, and death are all just the price you pay for the fun of the glorious battle. Theroc would rush into a bunker full of men with Repeating blasters and take them on unarmed, for a challenge. Granted, that usually doesn't end well... unless he was wearing armor.
This attitude may have been formed by a Hutt Crime boss, but that is a story to be told later.
Besides his psychotic love of fighting, Theroc is overall a nice guy. Usually careful not to cause undue discomfort, though he is always eager to fight, always asking his superiors for someont to hunt down. But he obeys orders, loyally serving those he chooses to serve. Their cannon to be let loose when needed. His comrades are under his own personal protection, and the Mandalorians learned this well during the Mandalorians, and the Sith relearned this as he created havoc in the ranks of his enemies, tearing through men like an incensed rancor when one of his squadmates was injured.
History: The story of Theroc is rather full of things difficult to explain, as much of his childhood is unknown. It is believed that he was born on Nar Shadaa, but as no Boralis were ever noted there to give birth to him, no one knows who his parents were. In fact, no one even knows where he was born on Nar Shadaa. However, it is known that he was taken in by a Hutt, and taught to love fighting, learned to tolerate pain and so forth. The Hutt turned battle into a game. This concept stuck with him. Theroc frequented the arena, fighting with the other children for the pure fun of it.
To begin from where he was picked up, would likely be the best place to begin.
When he was born, his parents were no where to be found, however, Theroc was lucky that a Twi'lek dancing girl found him and brought him back, caring for him secretly. This lasted until Theroc was about 1 year and a half before he was discovered. Byt this time he nearly appeared to be three or four in human terms. Mentally, he was still young. But the Hutt ordered he be taught "self-defense" and the Twi'lek dancer, when not dancing, began showing Theroc some of the movements he'd be using later. When he reached the tender age of four, his true career began.
The Hutt decided to begin his real training. Choosing his weakest thug, he ordered him to beat Theroc unconscious. The Hutt then explained to Theroc that they were going to play a little game. After explaining the game, Theroc grinned and agreed. The thug walked in and took a swing, instinct kicked in, and as the Dancer taught, he tilted his body out of the way. Then he slammed a fist into the man's stomach. His eyes bulged, widened as he fell to his knees. Theroc then punched him in the skull twice in rapid succession, and the thug fell unconscious.
Theroc had talent. He was more thoroughly trained, this new "toy" of the Hutt's. He fought all of the best thugs he had, and enjoying his defeats as much as his victories. The fight is what is fun. Pain was just a small price to pay. As time progressed, Theroc began to be taught more about weaponry, and was then sent to the Arena, where his surname was given to him. He became rather reknowned on the circuits, as he did suppression field bouts as willing as Deathmatches, and came out on top everytime.
A few Mandalorians who broke away from the clans to work for credits fought Theroc, and were soundly defeated. They proclaimed, "He's crazy. He doesn't even fight for the Glory... he fights for fighting's sake!" It is obvious that Theroc lost no deathmatchs, though he has lost some suppression bouts, which lead to subsequent rematchs, and then successes.
However, this success in the dueling ring was shortlived. By the time Theroc was 20, he had heard of an army. It was the Grand Republic Military. He wanted to join. However, the Hutt, who was making a killing off of Theroc, refused to lose his Gladiator. And so, he locked down his sector, forcing all shipowners who dealt with him to deny Theroc passage. However, Theroc refused to be denied his goal. One day, a non-Hutt vessel entered the sector, preparing for legitimate business. A few Exchange thugs sidled up, attempting to butt in on the Hutt's business. Of course, Theroc didn't care so much about the business, but that the ship was not in the Hutt's pocket. Walking up behind the men, towering over them as they saw him.
"Is there a problem with his legitimate shipment, you f****** peons?" he asked, cracking his knuckles before the men sprinted away. The pilot and his freighter crew thanked him, and he stated simply, "You're taking me with you, or I'll tear your ship apart." Of course, they did not refuse him, and so the Hutt was thwarted. Furious, a Bounty was placed on his head. However, those who tried found it difficult to collect on. Theroc left a trail of Bounty Hunting corpses in his wake, those who tried all sorts of things, learning of it's ineffectiveness.
Having successfully reached the Republic, Bounty Hunters were not foolish enogh to continue hunting him in Military installations. Going through basic training, Theroc proved he had a very powerful squad mentality, though he often forgot his squadmates were not as durable, nor as insane as he was. His squadmates respected his ability to "sacrifice" himself, as they saw it during the wargames with ranged weapons only. Then they got into melee combat, and Theroc let the trainee he was fighting get ten free swings before he retaliated.
"You get ten hits, ya skinny ass weakling!" Theroc laughed, his arms out, waiting for the hits. After the guy was done, Theroc felt a mild pain, but it had given him what he needed to do. Get his adrenaline up. Theroc punched him once. Between the ribs. His eyes bulged as well, as he fell writhing on the floor. The others there were stunned. Theroc just cracked the boy's ribcage. The other was taken the the emergency wing, and Theroc was rather confused by all the dirty looks.
"What?! I gave him ten swings! Not may fault he's weak!" Theroc did not realize that he was simply abnormally powerful. He quickly graduated the melee course, He continued basic training, eager to actually use his prowess. Once the Republic entered the Mandalorian Wars, Theroc was elated. He requested to be on the front lines. And that is where they placed him. He was sent wherever the heaviest fighting was, and he always made the difference in his little corner of the battle. However, the Republic was no match for the Mandalorians. They began to fall.
Theroc was frustrated. HE never lost his battles. WHY WAS THE REPUBLIC LOSING?! They needed a few more Theroc's... but they were not around. However, something nearly as efficient revealed itself. Revan, Malak, and the Jedi army. This turned the War around.
After several battles serving alongside the Jedi, Revan(Can be changed if Rev doesn't approve) requested that Theroc become part of his special Forces, and they became sparring partners. He proved himself time and again, even against Jedi. he did not have the dexterity many others did, the speed, but his raw power and durability made him a great asset. He always lost to Revan, and even sustained a scar across his left eye when it got a little out of hand. He loved fighting Revan. His natural prowess for battle was like a drug for him. It nearly exceeded the pleasure of the front lines, though he loved that too. He never bested Revan, but he would strive to do so.
Theroc was even at Malachor V. However, something felt wrong to him there. He fought fiercely, but it wasn't as fun. He didn't understand why, but something felt horribly wrong. The Republic was loising again, but that wasn't it. Theroc was confused. Then the mass Shadow Generator went off. Theroc passed out and nearly went comatose. In fact, several squadmates thought he DID die. However, his stamina again saved him, and he was revived after some difficulty, back at the Leviathan.
Revan might have been rather irritated, as Theroc was to remain on the Leviathan during, but Theroc had taken out a few guards, merely knocking them out and then flying down to the battle, leading to the aforementioned event, a shuttle to the surface and joined the battle.
At this time, Revan made him a promise: So long as you follow me, you will have battle to your hearts content.
Of course, Theroc could not refuse such an offer, as Battle was what he lived for. He swore to obey Revan so long as Revan would command him to battle, and so he returned with the Sith army. SOme of the first people he fought were stunned Republican who had served with him. He shattered their bodies as well as their minds with his rampage, tearing through them with the Sith armada like a hot knife through butter.
And so, soon after, he found himself hunted by Jedi. At first a Knight, then two, then possibly a Master and a knight, and so forth. He killed them all, leaving a trail of bodies across the Galaxy, as was Revan's will. But, all good things must have an end. When the Jedi managed to reach Revan, and Malak betrayed him, Theroc was devastated by the news, and refused to obey Malak. Treachery ruined the game. A game which constantly changed Gamemasters was no fun, it was incontiguous. And any battles which is easy, such as those Malak fought, slaughtering of innocents after subjugation... was no fun. And so, Theroc slaughtered his entire unit of Sith under Malak's command, and escaped. Hunting the Jedi... as they would answer for what they had done to him.
As he became a freelance murderer, slaughterer of both Sith and Republic and Jedi in his hunt, news leaked out that Revan was alive, towards the end of the Jedi Civil War. A path of corpses follwed Revan's trail, left by the pursuing Theroc. However, Revan eventually had gone where he could not follow. And so he had again failed to find his leader, his general, his milestone, his Master. Theroc's frustration knew no bounds.
However, not long after this failure, a skilled group of Bounty Hunters captured Theroc in a cryogenesis chamber, incapcitating yet preserving his body. In a strange twist of fate, over the thousands of years, Theroc was used as a conversation piece by strange rich people, until he finally found his wqay to a junk shop in Nar Shadaa. And there sits his chamber still. Who would claim this warrior, and who would know he was worth reviving?
Lightsaber Form: Ironfist-
Used in tandem with Theroc's {Golden Spirit} Force Form, grants a user
unparalleled offensive power, forsaking defense in preference of shattering an opponent before any lethal blows can be given. The proverb "The best defense is a good offense" is the core philosophy behind this style, and Theroc's build and demeanor allow him to capitalize on this. However, this style does not lend itself to holding back, and so sometimes Theroc has problem not hospitalizing Sparring partners.
Force Form:Golden Spirit-(Name subject to change)
This Force Form is specific to Theroc only, as it is the manifestation of his Force Sensitivity in a sense no other being has ever manifested to a large degree. it is said that if a strongly Force Sensitive person is not trained as a Jedi or Sith, the Force helps them in other ways... this is how Theroc's Force abilities have manifested. They are all physically based abilities, save for the golden aura, and the change in his eye color, which goes to a glowing gold as his stronger abilities kick in. Such abilities as a "combat sense" allowing him to detect potentially lethal blows enough to turn them into shallow cuts, etc... Essentially, he was given a Warrior's spirit to a degree previously unseen. This partially explains his extreme degree of survivability in battle.

Sorry to DP, but I needs Revan's opinion.
in KOTOR II, it says Revan chose those whose loyalty was in question on Malachor V.
Did he put any he was sure of on Malachor? because well, THeroc would follow him to the end of time, as he is the strongest warrior he ever met...
Revan Ordo™ - July 12, 2006 07:42 PM (GMT)
You could say Revan intended him to stay on Revan's capital ship but he went to the surface to fight on his own accord...
Voltar™ - July 12, 2006 10:18 PM (GMT)
Alrighty then. That works.
Voltar™ - July 13, 2006 02:19 AM (GMT)
Sorry to double post, but once name is decided, this is finished.
I'd like people to check my stat template, and see how many complain about my stats.
Zero Knightman - July 13, 2006 02:38 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I know it's a re-aranged mando, but you know...some still seem high man.
Voltar™ - July 13, 2006 02:41 AM (GMT)
Now it's a rearranged Twi'lek.
Zero Knightman - July 13, 2006 02:46 AM (GMT)
I guess if it's the same amount as I started with it's ok, hehe. Yeah cause eitherway you still basically can just up your stats....

Kain Ossious™ - July 13, 2006 03:00 AM (GMT)
I dsay lower major stats overall by two and then approved? or Perfect?
Bendak™ - July 13, 2006 03:02 AM (GMT)
Agreed with Kain. If we let you do it, then everyone else can. No re arranging templates. Either chose a pre made one or start with all balanced.
Voltar™ - July 13, 2006 03:06 AM (GMT)
Kain, drag Izekiah out of approved, and go suggest Arkainians as a race. And let me see the template.
Bendak's rules.
Bendak™ - July 13, 2006 03:07 AM (GMT)
Indeed. I wanna see race suggestions.
Kain Ossious™ - July 13, 2006 03:08 AM (GMT)
Hey, Arkainians is a real race. And Revan approved it from the template i made based on the paragraph form Wookie.
Bendak™ - July 13, 2006 03:09 AM (GMT)
Don't care. Revan isn't around right now. I wanna see full race description, planet of origin, stat template. No more bloody custom races with full staff approval.
Kain Ossious™ - July 13, 2006 03:11 AM (GMT)
These aliens are a near-human people with extreme intelligence. They enslaved the Yaka from nearby planets, turning them into cyborgs. Their home planet, Arkania, is not truly their homeworld at all, but was originally a repository for Sith knowledge. One famous Arkanian was the ancient Jedi Master Arca Jeth. Arkanians have three fingers (some four) and a thumb on each hand, and can see well into the infrared range of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Bendak™ - July 13, 2006 03:12 AM (GMT)
Post it in suggestions Kain.
Voltar™ - July 13, 2006 03:13 AM (GMT)
I think he wanted a suggesstions topic...
