DEATHNOTE!! DIE DIED IE, Bad movie. Spoilers Included

WHY!!! WHY!!!

They really messed up DEATHNOTE!! ARGG!!
The books ending was not OKAY! Well, it doesnt make me mad, but really, there's nothing significant in the outcome with RAito dead. PHUCK!

Well I watched the movie just yesterday. Well, the movie was bad from beginning to finish. No wonder there were only 10 people in the entire theater watching it with me.

It looks like this received quite a few detrimental Japanese pop influences. They really shouldnt have chosen our Anti-hero to be played by a guy who looks like one of those ugly jap singers who are only famous in there little domesticate JAPANESE inland fan group, one of them singers who cant even write songs but buys them from idiotic composers. PHUCK Tatsuya Toubara!

The story changed so much! RAito's girlfriend is supposed to be a minor character with a less serious and more hippy airhead aura around her.

The camera sucks! The entire thing looked like those stupid comic/anime-made-into-tv-series-played-by-real-people thing they do in Japan! Gokusen and GTO! Yeah, those things that rarely have the right BGM in important scenes, (if any) those things thats centered around cliche simple lines spoken with bad cliche poses and cliche eye language. The camera skill was horrible, it just looked like the normal GTO Tv series version they air on TV. The camera shook a lot of times, too.

The group who dresses the characters up really did a bad job. I can find tons of cosplay pictures of each character that look better and more true to the original characters. An International MOvie that has worse skills than pro cosplayers? Raito didnt even look like the original. The original looked more cute yet sinister and dark, handsome, longer face. L (the one that was the most like its original counterpart) requires a more neatly mussed up hair (see Feather's avvy and my old avvy), in the movie it just looked like he didnt comb his hair and it was forming dreadlocks. L didnt evenhave the trademark big googly creepy eyes with thick black eyeshadowing from intense lack of sleep!

L's appearance was okay, but his voice ruined it. Same with Ryuk.

It was officially mentioned that this movie was planned to be shown in theaters internationally. Thats why they got rid of all the sex stuff in behalf of saving japan's face. That plan backfired and made the flow of the story was weird. Misa Amane was supposed to be almost caught by a rapist, not a psycho murderer, and FBI American Ray Penber was supposed to be killed by Raito instead of a stupid Japanese FBI Raye Iwamatsu.

The movie lacked much BGMs! And what are the idiots thinking, putting some norm English song at the Credits: are they trying to make it look Western so idiots would align Western=professional? Fat chance. Idiots think like that.

And the preview for Deathnote Part 2 made me wanna not waste 6 dollars again to watch it in November. The story was off in a different Tangent, RAito didnt seem like a dark, sinister, genius anymore, L sucked, Near and Mellow (Nate River and Mihael Keehl, successors to the dead L) and L's subordinates are obviously not gonna be in the movie.

I think L's not even gonna die in Part 2. Blech.

I rate this movie 4 out of 10.

I havent even heard of that before (except when you mentioned it) and it sounds like they really messed it. They shouldve done it in CG like FF7...

That man, known as "L" represents justice and our anti-hero protagonist Raito represents evil. He has killed more people than you have seen in your life with a enigmatic artifact called "DEATHNOTE" Anyone who has their name written in it will die in an heart attack 40 seconds after their name is written. Or, if the cause of death is written after the name, (example: you write "George Bush, Castration") it will happen. THe user of the note can also specify how George Bush dies from Castration. ("George Bush, Castration, goes into his private room at 0:55 AM and starts watching porn, jelquing until his dick explodes, then dies from overbleeding from his penis.") And it will happen like that if it is logically possible.

Oh yeah, youve said about that before...

Btw, theres two George Bushes, so whomever's face the executioner (writer) had in his mind when he wrote the name will die, so if the writer was thinking with Georgie W, then his daddy wont die, unless his name is written in there separately.

Dont you need an english version

I could try guessing.

I'll ask my classmates where they read english versions of deathnote. Its really confusing, its like a slightly twisted detective novel. You CANT guess just by looking at pictures, which are drawn in to support the reader's understanding of the complicated words. (In chinese it was hard to understand... maybe its easier in english) And i fear if its another badly translated fan-english version, they'll mistranslate and miss out many small but critical parts of the story.

I've been watching the Deathnote anime series on Adult Swim and have grown very much a liking to it.

Much of what L says seems to be nonsense guesswork, yet somehow ends up being extremely lucky, yet kind of obvious, IF you think in a manner so sadistic and assumptious. It is sometimes too convenient how he manages to think of EVERYTHING other than what is known by the viewer to be wrong, then second-guesses himself into a paradox that only succeeds in confusing the viewer and relaying that L really is, an idiot.

Also, he's ALWAYS EATING when he deduces.
