The Official Campaign of StarCraft.org, made by JudasCloud.
The Shifters cuts between two stories: An ex space pirate who is put in charge of a top secret Dominion Project and the Zerg army headed to destroy him.
Amazing in game cutscenes, custom music and a story that shows both sides of the war help. The Shifters reaches a dramatic climax never before accomplished by a campaign.
The Shifters is designed to work with StarCraft 1.08. If you do not downgrade to this version, you will not be able to run the EXE mod to see the custom graphics developed for this game while you play The Shifters. However, you can still play all the maps, you just won't get to get the full effect of the campaign.

I played it, the story was a bit cliche at points, and it had nothing to do with starcraft in the 2nd campaign. It really had GREAT MUSIC in there and great sound clips, though. I wish it had more gameplay, and the doodads and hacked campaign editing by placing buildings anywhere on cliffs, etc.. was wasted with bad placing in certain maps where the characters were in a "city".
EXP for the map making skillz, though.
PS: oops, the 2nd campaign i was referring to was some other campaign made by the same user JudasCloud. The ending music was so kewl. HAns Zimmer composes really great scores, especially the "Now We Are Free" from Gladiator.. I havent watched Gladiator (cept the ending) but that music alone has put a ominously overwhelming imagery of the move.

Wow, I played though the entire thing today, amazing. At the end though he should have showed more of the in fighting between the zerg and shifters, like a mini war scene. Like crab said a bit corney at times, still great though, I liked the flag senament at the very end.

Woah, custom graphics!? Gotta see those. How did he do that? I never heard of such things in SC except in mods. I wish i can downgrade sc at will too, just to see those custom scenes in action. I dont want to uninstall and install SC and get a 1.08 patch again... (i dont think its even available anymore with all the new patches...)
