Rainstar was sitting by the edge of the river watching some of her patrols return from hunting. She saw a hunting patrol of Riverheart ,whitewind, Silverfur cross the stepping stones with their jaws full of freshkill. Just after they left Rainstar's sight and entered the camp another patrol, back form checking clan boreders, etc., one of the warriors, grayfur, came up to Rainstar and told her"Rainstar...stonepaw and I had scented kittypets right near the other end of the river.,...they were fresh scents too!" Rainstar was silent for sometime and then slowly got to her paws shook the dust from her coat and sat down tail wrapped around her paws, then she began to speak. "Thank you, for telling me grayfur, would you ask Riverheart to send another patrol that way?" "yes, Rinstar..." came Grayfur's reply and he bounded away, with stonepaw at his heels, to go tell the deputy to send out some more patrols.
