It is the year 1997. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry continues to mourn for the loss of it's most beloved headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. Still, not all hope is lost.
Minerva McGonagall has taken over the head position at Hogwarts, determined to let the school remain open, as recognition of Dumbledore's memory - she, along with many others, knew that he would not wish for the school to close.
Harry Potter, the 'Chosen One', had his doubts about returning to Hogwarts for his final year. All that was on his mind, was the wereabouts of the final horcruxes, and his journey to find them. With much pursuasion from his two best friends, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, along with Ron's mother, Molly, Harry decided that his place, for the time being, was at Hogwarts.
So, the trio, along with many of his friends, returned to Hogwarts with every intention of studying for their final exams. While the number of students had become considerably smaller, the homely atmosphere had not faltered in the slightest.
Among those who returned, was none other than Draco Malfoy, a reformed Death Eater, seeking protection from Lord Voldemort. Professor McGonagall graciously accepted him back, and, to make him feel less osilated from the rest of the school, offered him the position of Head Boy. With Hermione Granger partnering him as Head Girl, no one knows how the year will play out.
