Sorry for it being so long between updates guys. We're trying to get back into the swing of things but we need your help to round up existing members as well as to advertise for new ones! PM either me or Rahakasax if you'd like coding for invisionfree, proboards, or html forums. We already have some made up if you'd like to use it.

Policies and Procedures
Here students and teachers alike may read through school policies and rules. You will find the joining form, as well as the joining password, and a few other bits and pieces which will gain you brownie points with the admins within this forum.

Admission's Office
All new students and teachers must pass through this room before they are allowed onto the rest of the campus. Before registering, all incoming staff/students are required to thoroughly review the policies and procedures of South Braxton Academy.

Parking Permits
If you are age 16 or older, come here to claim your parking permit! You must provide your character's name and age, vehicle make, model, and color. You will be assigned a license plate number, as well as a permit number.

First Floor
The first floor of South Braxton is home to the English and Language Arts classrooms. There are a number of rooms to be found here, as there are a number of classes pertaining to this subject.

Second Floor
Social Studies classrooms dominate this floor of the building, along with a series of cave paintings which line those walls not containing lockers. These were apparently painted years ago, by the founders of the school, who believed that all decorations found in this section of the campus be 'educational.'

Third Floor
The Mathematics classrooms are to be found on this level, along with a great amount of graffiti--likely the result of so many students being kicked out of class due to failing grades and/or lack of interest.

Fourth Floor
The fourth floor of the building is home to the science classrooms, cleverly placed at the highest level as a means of fire safety. Should any fires break out, damage will stay minimal, and the classrooms below will be preserved--in theory, of course.

Cafeteria
SBA's cafeteria offers a range of meals every day: there are two main dishes, a salad bar, and the concession stand. Comfortable round tables with attached seating are avaliable to dine on.

Infirmary
Contrary to what you might expect, the Infirmary is a spacious room, lined on one side with hospital beds. The nurses's office is located in the corner nearest to the door, where all injured or sick students and staff must check in.

Media Center
Gain access to both computers and books here at the South Braxton Academy's state-of-the-art media center. Just a reminder, students are not to log on to any questionable sites, and/or instant messenging programs. If you are caught, you may receive a detention.

Gymnasium
Fancy a bit of indoor sports? Whether your preference be ballet, basketball, football, or gymnastics, this is the place to go for practice. Outdoor courts serve well for games.

The Pool
In the winter, students tend to gather around this olympic-sized indoor swimming pool. The hall containing it is large and the architecture is most beautiful. Two high-rise diving boards dominate the tiled landscape, while several normal boards fill the areas between them. Two lifeguards are always on duty here, one taking the day shift, and the other the night.

Detention Center
Regardless of the crime, all students report to this white walled room for detention. Like all other classrooms, desks are lined in rows for the students to do homework on.

The Sandbar
In the summer months this portion of the lake provides an excellent area in which to swim. Students and teachers alike can move out approximately five hundred feet from shore before the water becomes too deep for comfort. Two lifeguards are always on duty here, one for the day shift and the other for the night. Take caution here, however, for the size of the lake often results in sizeable waves which have been known to sweep unsuspecting students great distances away from where they started.

As you can imagine, students and/or teachers may come here to either practice or compete in tennis matches.

Football Field
Lush green grass and firm footing make for an awesome playing field here at South Braxton. Aluminum bleachers surround the field fifty rows tall, as the Barracudas draw in many fans each game.

Soccer Fields
If you enjoy soccer, this is the place to go! With sturdy nets firm footing, and a drainage line for when the rain falls, the South Braxton soccer fields are an excellent place to play.

The Stable
A luxurious building of stone rises up out of the hazey morning air each day, and these are the South Braxton Stables. With over one-hundred 12 x 20 box stalls, each lined in stained mahogany panels, and a concrete lined aisleway spanning 20 feet in width, this building is the perfect home for your equine companion. Twenty of the stalls are reserved for lesson horses, the others are for staff and student boarders.

The Parking Lot
One might not believe how great a place this is to catch up on the latest gossip! Park your cars, lock up, and hang out for a while before classes start. Beware the parking lot lady, however, as she might chase you from her domain.

The Birch Wing is the all-female student dorm, and is heavily gaurded to keep it that way. Each dorm room currently houses 1 student and consists of one bed, a bathroom, and a basic set of furniture.

Staff Apartments
All staff (with the exception of married couples) are assigned one apartment for their own use. Each apartment contains a kitchen, dining/living room, bedroom, and a spare room for the occupants choosing.

Coffee Bean
The Coffee Bean is a smaller establishment on the west side of Braxton, but it remains a popular spot for SBA students and has lately been open 24 hours for those late night study sessions. The "bean" is furnished with a bar that runs the length of the counter, various red-leather booths and a small scattering of mismatched tables and chairs in the center.

The Pysch Ward
The Ward is the only under 21 club in Braxton and is generally the only nightlife that SBA students are legally allowed to experience. Unfortunately, they are only allowed to serve exotic juice combos, not alcoholic drinks. On weekends, the ward opens at 7 p.m. and closes at 3 a.m.

The Red Flagon
Half restaurant, half bar, the restaurant portion closes at 10pm, and the bar opens at 11pm. Students are not permitted here after the 10 o'clock closing time, though teachers may be found here well past midnight. Fake ID holders beware, for if a teacher catches you, there will be worse trouble than detention.

Emerald Cinemas
Harboring ten different theaters within its walls, Emerald Cinemas is a popular hangout for students on the weekends. Reclining seats line the back wall of each theater, but they are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis, so hurry with the popcorn buying and get to your seats!
