Came up with a new and original (to this forum at least) challenge.

We're gonna start a small Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament.

It's fairly simple, really, not much effort is required. I'm sure you're all familiar with the game, yes? In case you're not, you've been living under a rock and you should look it up online.

This is how we're going to do it. I'll open up signups for 48 hours and then I'll make a tournament bracket.

After I do that, you guys will have to PM me with 10 hands. For example:

1. Rock
2. Paper
3. Scissors
4. R
5. S
6. R
7. P
8. R
9. S
10. S

Took me less than 30 seconds, it's that simple. Of course, you can always use some strategy and consider how your opponent would think.

Whoever gets 3 wins first advances to the next round. Reason why I'm asking for 10 hands is in case of a draw. Since this obviously isn't live, this'll be enough to ensure a quick competition.

The last 2 people will have to get 5 wins out of a maximum of 15 hands to win the tournament.

Questions or comments? Post them here.

Post here saying "Sign me up" to participate in this challenge.

Signups close in 48 hours.

For those who've got Alzheimer like me: Rock > Scissors > Paper > Rock.

Staffers are allowed to participate in this challenge.

Once upon a time, there was a man who was convinced that he possessed a Great Idea. Indeed, as the man thought upon the Great Idea more and more, he realized that it was not just a great idea, but the most wonderful idea ever. The Great Idea would unravel the mysteries of the universe, supersede the authority of the corrupt and error-ridden Establishment, confer nigh-magical powers upon its wielders, feed the hungry, heal the sick, make the whole world a better place, etc. etc. etc.

The man was Francis Bacon, his Great Idea was the scientific method, and he was the only crackpot in all history to claim that level of benefit to humanity and turn out to be completely right.

M'kay, signups closed.

The bracket will be posted here tomorrow.

Since we don't have 16 people, we'll work with 8. For this reason, I'll give priority to the members over the staffers considering we have over 8 participants.
