Surfing the net today and came across an Anti-Virus system called NOD32. Anyone got any opinions on how this fares as an anti virus?

I highly recommend NOD32. It's by far one of the best anti-virus programs in the market. It blocks the threat before it penetrates into your pc and cause harm silver2.gif However, Nod32 does not have a integrated firewall silver8.gif , otherwise it would be a perfect combination.

Nod32 has an ultra fast scan speed, accurate detection, and light on memory usage. silver13.gif

I also read from different people over the internet and heard from my dad like via his colleagues and stuff,
that it's thé or else one of the best.

I would love to believe it but I've never tried it.
My dad did download it, but we haven't used it (yet), and I also wouldn't want to mess up the AVG I got working.
Maybe when it's license is over in November...

Its a very popular AV and I agree with most comments posted about it so far. I personally have not used it so I cannot recommend it myself, but I know many people who use it.

Yes, so also because of that, I wouldn't doubt the software.
I seems to be one of the top programs.

And I guess it's ok that it doesn't have a firewall included.
I mean, I've always pretty much used a separate firewall, as long as all applications aren't system-heavy.
Which I don't really know about NOD32.

Btw, long ago I also thought NOD32 had something to do with Norton, I guess the name confused me.
So I just thought it wouldn't be so good since a lot of people don't like Norton.
You know, first of all because it's system-heavy and more issues I guess.

So its not yet licensed as of now?

Uhm, my AVG has a license which is valid until November.
So thén I might try NOD32 instead, but I'm not sure, it won't hurt I guess.
