What does it take to run Dual OS on one computer? The two I want to know is Ubuntu and XP. Any information is appreciated.

You need separate partitions for both of the Os's. So if you know what a parition is and how to create one then you will know how to dual boot. silver5.gif

Just make sure you have adequate hard drive space along with the info Nebon provided and you will be good to go.

Also remember that Linux requires two partitions to run... So you can only create one more partition after Linux is installed. The best way to create dual-boot is to first install (if you're using Windows as well) Windows, and then Linux. That way you'll automatically have dual-boot.
