Soap Magic Role-Play Rules & Tips

Run your posts through Microsoft Word, or any other program with a spell checker.

Play your characters like they are played on the show. Original storylines are strongly encouraged; just don't stray too far from the way your character would act on the show.

Keep Out Of Character comments to an absolute minimum. There is an OOC board here at Soap Magic. Use that instead of posting OOC's in your Role-Plays.

Put all of your character's actions and thoughts in BOLD. Anything your character says should be in Quotation Marks and in regular text.

Subject Lines should be formatted like this. Please use this exact format when posting. Here are some examples:
    [Location] Character Attn: Characters
[The Valley Inn] Jackson Attn: Lily/Reggie/Dani
[Pine Valley Hospital] Maria Attn: Joe/David
    [S.O.S] JR Attn: Babe/Jamie
The first post for the Day's thread will feature information about that day in your fictional soap town. Included will be the current time, the scheduled date for day completion, the weather, and any other events planned for the day. Please check back to that message frequently as it will be modified over the week.

Thank You,
Soap Magic Management
