The Front Desk

Snowdrop Inn is a comfortable homey place. It gives off a welcoming aura with it's light blue painted wood on the outside and dark brown roof tops. There is a sign that is nailed right above the door that says "Snowdrop Inn" in black coal letters. The sign itself, seems pretty big and it is. There is, on the door, a sign that reads open or closed. The Inn is open a majority of the time, but can be closed if needed to or if there is an emergency.

When you enter the Inn, you'll immediately notice the scent of apple's and cinnamon, a warm and spicy smell that tingles the senses. Straight in front of you is where the front desk is located, plain in sight for newcomers looking for a place to stay. Usually, the innkeeper is seen behind this desk, eagerly waiting to greet the travelers who happen upon her Inn.

Gregory walked into the inn, glad to finally be old enough to leave the bland dormatories. He longed to have a place of his own, regardless of what the cost would be to live there. If it was too much for him, he intended to get a job to pay for it. Tentavely, he rang the bell at the inn's desk and waited for someone to come.

Estoria heard the familiar ring of the front desks bell and walked to behind the desk. She brushed some strands of hair behind her ear and glance at the man in front of her. "I take it you need a room for one? Just tell me which room. Fill out this form with your name, first and last, and the room you want. I'll see if it's available." Estoria spoke kindly towards the man and in a very polite voice.

She then unlocked one of the drawers from behind the desk, pulling out the large loop that held all of the keys and secondary keys for the people who would get the room. One for them and one for the innkeeper, she just needed to know which room the newcomer wanted.

He didn't have much money at all. Still, surely 500G would be able to buy him a bit of time, wouldn't it? If not then he truly wasn't sure what he'd do. The game plan was simple;

Rent a room for as long as possible, go out and get a job. Yep. Simple. At least on paper it seemed to be such.

Tilting the rim of his hat down a bit, Sen slowly entered Snowdrop Inn with his shoulders raised towards his ears protectively. As little contact with others on this day was preferable. After a night of working his courage up, he could attempt to be cordial. Maybe.

There didn't seem to be anyone around at the moment. Didn't surprise him too much. All he knew was that he wanted a room with a view - couldn't be that hard, right?

"Excuse me..." Mumbling to himself, the blue-haired man rang the bell once, then immediately shoved his hands in his pockets to wait. Hopefully someone would be there.

Melanie walked into the inn slowly. She examined the lobby quickly before hiking her backpack farther up onto her shoulder and walking towards the front desk. She fiddled around in her bag before pulling out her small purse that held her money. The girl cleared her throat and smiled at the innkeeper.
"Excuse me? I'd like to rent a room." She said in a clear, polite voice.
