Applying for Silmarwen Staff

There are many spots here on Silmarwen, that must all be filled to be able to make the site run smoothly. Many members here will be requested to become such a staff member, though we do highly request that you are active, as your characters must be as well. This is very important to us at Silmarwen. So please feel free to fill out the below application for the position you would like.

--PLOT CREATOR(S) — As the title would suggest, these are the creative minds that help to stem some of IS's juicy plots! In this role you'd have pretty much free run of thought and mind. When ever you feel that you need to spice things up then please let admin know with a plot idea and post it in the area provided.
--CONTEST DIRECTOR(S) — IS's is made to be fun and enjoyable for all its members, so what is the problem with a healthy competition. Well this is the job for you. This position will consist of making up fun competitions and games for the members to compete in.
--THREAD MAINTAINER — Every site needs to be well updated and threads kept clean. Rules must be fallowed and this is the role where you need to keep the boards clean, making sure that members roleplaying keep to the rules.
--PACK ALPHA — I don't think this role could get much more obvious, if you are given the role as pack alpha, then you wil be given this role. Though we also are always welcome for new packs to be created. So if a pack is made then you need to make sure you moderate it!
--GRAPHICS CREATOR — If you are good with pen, mouse or whatever it takes to be able to create beautiful pictures then you are more then welcome to be able to have this position.
--HTML MAKER — Now everyone knows that a good site has a good HTML member, this is a position consisting of writing and applying HTML to IS to make it a beautiful site. Though it also has simply tasks such as helping when members need it with tables ect.

Now in order to get one of these positions you must fill out a form. These will be approved by Luper, the Silmarwen admin and once you have been given the OK then you may begin to work on the site, where you have been given power.

Why you want this position?: Because if people are asking for pictures, tables, etc, it makes a mess sometimes x) And I'm a neat freak. I don't necessarily mean I want powers over all threads, maybe just the Creative Hands and Minds board or just the Resting Grounds? So I can clean up the mess I make and keep the threads neat. Basically it's just in relation to the Graphics job :]
Why you would be good for this position?: Because I have too much time, and as previously stated am a neat freak. I mean, look at the sorry mess I've made in Creative Hands and Minds just now ^^;
Have you had any further experiance?: I've been a moderator on forums before, yeah :3

Sample of work(such as for plot ideas, pictures ect.): On a few sites, I've made some pretty nice plots. For example- Iro on another site had a plot going. ^^ she was to enter another pack as a spy. as a spy, she would gather "information" and come to be trusted by the alphess. but then the alphess followed her on one of her excursions back to her old pack and saw her meeting with the pack's enemy. This caused an extreme outcry by Akina (the alphess), and the two packs were meant to be led into battle. This battle was to be fierce, and during it, Akina was meant to be injured severely. Then an agreement would be reached at the end, and both packs would meet on the full moon (the moon of the battle was full) every month from then on to exchange news and to ensure that information was not being passed by spying. As a sort of peace treaty.

Also, if you're familiar with SotW, the whole "Faia and the Arashi" plot was started by me. Its too long and complicated to put here, since its still in progress.

Why you want this position?: Because I'm good at making plots, and its fun.

Why you would be good for this position?: Because I don't just make random plots. I put a lot of thought into it. Its not just a random thing- it takes strategy. I think through all the viewpoints and possible reactions of other wolves, and can be sensitive to the nature of others when it counts. Therefore, my plots are usually at a size to where they can be easily controlled if it gets out of hand- but exciting enough to keep anyone participating or just reading entertained. And I leave alot of loopholes for anyone who wants to pop in to fill.

Have you had any further experiance?: ... If I type any more, my brain might explode. =_= anime night... is... exhausting... -sigh- must... get... to... BED? NO. NOT WITH THESE BOYS HERE. I LIKE MY FACE WITH ITS CURRENT ARRANGEMENT THANK YOU. NU TOUCHY MAH FACE.

Zuzu, I am glad to say welcome and approved. I am glad that such a crazy mind as yourself has wanted to become a ranking wolf. So by the power invested in me...hehe I now dub you Plot creator!! Why you want this position?:
I believe it could boost site and pack activity to have a flurishing pack life. It could attract more people to see plots and inter-pack life going on actively. Kazimouru is not a old and completely serious wolf, meaning she is fun loving and full of life. She is serious when the time comes, yet like many she would rather have fun with stuff that you can have fun with then to be serious all the time. I believe I could keep the pack-life active by having a active and fun loving Kazi lead the Oropher.

Why you would be good for this position?:
I am a active person on this site already along with SOTW. I have stayed with most of my sites until either they have died or I am still with them today. I believe my posts are of acceptable length and may even be to the least of bits entertaining. I believe I have gotten a good grasp on Kazi's character already and that she would contribute greatly to the Oropher pack. She is young, active and full of energy. Yet she is also kind and fun loving to those around her of the pack. She is just as likely as any other wolf to joke around and rough house, yet when it comes down to buisness she puts the game plan into action.

Have you had any further experiance?:
The only alpha wolf I have ever rp'd before was Milleno on WOTP. The site was active for almost three years I think, but it recently has fallen inactive. I am not sure if the site is going to make it through the summer but I think everyone there is hoping it will pull through and become active again during the summer months. I was active throughout the three years and I believe I always had good posting length and grammer.

Congrats, I am glad to name you as the new Oropher pack alpha. I have seen your roleplaying skills and must say your amazing at it. I am glad to say get to work Lol!! I glad that you have been approved to such a spot and I hope you enjoy your time in that spot!!!

Sample of work: Well, on the c-box I try to cheer every one up with my hyperness. Plus on other sites, I keep every one alive. Like just having someone come up with the best song or poem. -nods- Plus I'm very active and most of the time hyper! -grins-

Why you want this postion: Well, because if there is nothing fun to do when you get on, then you'll start to become inactive. Plus if you have nothing else to do, or your waiting for someone to reply. I think everyone would like to have something fun to do while waiting for a reply post or for someone gets on! -has minons say HERE HERE-

Have you had any further experiance?: On one of my old sites before it died. I started a contest for who could come up with the best poem. The members had fun reading and writing the poems, plus a lot more of the inactive members became active. Also the one's who's role-playing wasn't so good, became better. Plus if there isnt any contest up, theres always just random boards I could post to have fun! -bounces around happily-
